I value the feature of importing PDFs and scheduling emails in Constant Contact. However, I've downgraded to a cheaper plan which doesn't allow email scheduling. I'm trying to find the right balance between cost and necessary features. I switched to Constant Contact from Donor Snap because their email functionality was too basic for me, as they are mainly a CRM software company.

Is Constant Contact Worth the Investment?
I appreciate the excellent customer support and ease of use of Constant Contact, but find it quite costly for a small business, especially considering other equally good, less expensive programs are available. I chose Constant Contact for its live phone support, switching from Mailchimp after my account was banned due to excessive bounces. Constant Contact assisted me in making changes to the mail server, effectively eliminating any bounces from the original list. Their support is truly commendable.

Unresolved Problems, Quite Annoying
I'm having issues with photos taken on my iPhone as they appear sideways on Constant Contact. They've acknowledged this problem but haven't fixed it in two years. I'm also experiencing issues with bounced emails and they can't explain why a valid email bounces or the differences among various categories of emails that don't go through. Their customer service is disappointing as they don't respond to chats and phone support takes forever. If they do respond, it's often someone from overseas. The software has also become incredibly slow. They constantly ask for feedback but never follow up on it. Overall, using Constant Contact has become extremely frustrating for me.

I was initially frustrated with Constant Contact due to their lack of communication and difficulty in cancelling my subscription. After spending over two hours on the phone, I was unable to cancel my account following the sending of my Christmas messages. I was disappointed that Constant Contact did not offer the option to cancel online, provide support for cancellations outside of normal business hours, or have a call-back option for support calls. This made me feel like they were intentionally making it difficult to cancel or pause a subscription. However, since expressing my frustrations, Constant Contact has proactively reached out to me and paused my subscription, which I appreciate. As a result, I have updated my rating.
