Don't Let Them Take Your Cash!!
Don't let them steal your money! I had a terrible experience with GetResponse. After registering and committing to a year-long subscription, I sent out a single campaign from a purchased list. I then had to buy an upgrade due to the number of subscribers. However, they immediately suspended my account due to a high number of unsubscribes, without providing any explanation. A few weeks later, they announced they were closing my account. Over a month later, they informed me they were keeping my money and refused to refund the several hundred pounds I had spent. After I posted this review, they reluctantly agreed to a pro-rata refund, but they still kept a month's worth of my money, which saw no valid use. For context, I was using a purchased list from a competition I ran in a national newspaper, with 3, entrants, 2, of whom gave permission to be contacted.

I absolutely love using Getresponse on a daily basis. It enables me to easily design my marketing campaigns and draw customers to my landing page with its integrated advert creator for Facebook and Google. My business simply can't operate without Getresponse. It's an all-inclusive marketing automation tool that removes the need for any other platforms. I can host my website, create beautiful landing pages, capture leads, place adverts on social media and Google, and send unlimited emails to my list. The only drawback I can think of is that there are cheaper autoresponders out there, but they don't offer the functionality and user-friendliness that Getresponse does. I chose Getresponse because it provided more value than other options. It includes email marketing, doesn't require SMTP accounts or hosting, and includes landing pages that usually have to be designed through WordPress or other hosting. I switched to Getresponse because it had more integrations with other software and more functionality to build an automated campaign on a single platform.

Here's my summary of my review on GetResponse software:5. The landing pages are not compatible with Internet Explorer and take 3 to 5 seconds to load on Google Chrome. There's a brief moment where the landing page displays with original, unappealing fonts, which I suspect is a software bug.6. In our initial meeting, I asked the representative about customization for registration pages. She confirmed it was possible, but we later found out that we could only use GetResponse's registration form and couldn't add custom fields. This was a major problem for us as we wanted to collect more attendee information and use our own branding. We had to create a registration form using landing pages, which significantly reduced the automation of the webinar and removed calendar reminders, greatly impacting our attendance rate.7. The software limits the number of speakers to three.8. The webinar room cannot be prepared in advance. Each time we rehearsed, we had to upload all materials again.

Please note: I've updated this review after investigating with GetResponse, and have changed my rating from 1 to 5, as it appears they were not to blame. I was constantly receiving spam emails from this company, despite never signing up for their mailing list and finding no way to unsubscribe. This was extremely frustrating, especially when waiting for important emails. I was so annoyed that I vowed never to purchase anything from anyone who advertises with them and advised others to do the same. However, after communicating with GetResponse, it turns out the spam emails were not sent by them, but by a company imitating their brand. I apologize for my previous review, which was undeserved. They are currently investigating the imposter. I've also updated my rating, as the company addressed this issue promptly and was not at fault.
