The contrast between the speed and ineffectiveness of Google Workspace's support is astonishing. I advise against joining a Google Meet with them as their English accent is often hard to understand. They promise to complete tasks within a certain timeframe but never follow through. This has happened to me four times. It's a classic example of the issues with monopolies.

I've had quite an adventure with Google Workspace's cancellation service! I initially opened a new account, thinking my old one was inactive, and ended up with a subscription for 12 months. When I discovered this, I spent two engaging half days navigating the cancellation process. Even after cancellation, they continued to take payments, which was a surprise as there was no direct debit, just an ongoing payment. My bank couldn't stop it, which added an extra layer of excitement to the process. When I reached out to Google, they suggested I sign up again for a free trial as they couldn't discuss a cancelled account. I found this to be an interesting approach. They didn't offer a refund, but I took it as a learning experience. Now, I'm gearing up to go through the entire cancellation process again to stop them from charging me. Their 'service' is absolutely unique and keeps you on your toes!
