I appreciate ClickUp for its general ease of use and task tracking capabilities within our organization. However, I find the mobile app's user experience not as good as the website/web app, which is annoying. Still, I'm glad a mobile app is available. I opted for ClickUp over other products due to its extensive features, particularly subtasks. I transitioned to ClickUp because the prior software I used wasn't user-friendly.

Despite trying numerous other task management tools, I always find myself returning to Clickup. The constant addition and updating of features, along with a fun little community, are pleasant perks. What keeps it in my top 3 is its ease of use and the flexibility to make tasks, lists, and projects as simple or complex as needed. The mobile app, which includes widgets, is a bonus. Initially, I was intimidated by Clickup's extensive "University" of tutorials and was unsure about the learning curve. It can be challenging to find help on a specific task without going through many tutorials. I chose Clickup because it feels more modern and streamlined, focusing on ease of use. The ability to use and create templates offers greater flexibility.

Unjust Low Ratings: A Deep Dive into Clickup Reviews
I was taken aback by the low average rating for Clickup on here. As a slightly neurodivergent geek, I felt compelled to dig deeper. I noticed that all the accounts leaving 1* negative reviews only leave such reviews, which led me to believe that these might be paid fake reviews. Unfortunately, this platform doesn't verify if you've actually used a product before allowing you to review it. I usually trust reviews from people who have left a range of varied reviews. I tend to lean towards 3/5* reviews as they usually provide a more balanced perspective. I wish I could provide one of those, but after comparing about 45 project management suites over 14 years, Clickup is my top choice. I've introduced it to several charities and SMEs, and I believe it would scale well in larger companies too. In the past, there were things that frustrated me about Clickup. It used to be a bit buggy and slow, and some features like time tracking were lacking, especially on the app. However, they are excellent at listening to customers and quickly addressing top priorities. I'm amazed at how they've managed to pack so much functionality and customization into such a fast, beautiful user experience, along with a mature product.

I appreciate ClickUp's customizable nature and its various views for project or task tracking. I also like that it can be set up immediately by selecting an industry or solution type. However, its customization, while crucial, is not limitless. We were able to achieve 95% of our needs, but the remaining 5% was unattainable. The price remains constant regardless. We initially chose ClickUp for its cost, wanting to experiment and identify our necessary features.

I value the fast onboarding for all employees in ClickUp, but struggle with creating task dependencies and managing recurring tasks. I switched to ClickUp for its reporting features. The vendor responded to my feedback by providing resources for setting up Dependency Relationships and recurring tasks, and offered help through their Help Center chatbot or email.

Superior Task/Project Management Solution: ClickUp
I highly recommend ClickUp. They provide a free license that I believe everyone should try. I've used other task/project management software such as Trello, Asana, and Monday, but ClickUp stands out as the best. It appears to combine features from all these platforms, which I really enjoy. It can be slightly buggy, but a new version is being released to fix this. I switched to ClickUp because it's a superior product with all the features we needed.

I've been using ClickUp for quite some time now and I must say, it's been a game-changer! The constant updates they roll out are always exciting and keep me on my toes. It's like they're always one step ahead, anticipating my needs before I even realize them myself. A couple of weeks ago, I had a bit of a hiccup. I logged into my account and found that my workspace, custom fields, lists, folders - everything - had vanished. It was a bit of a shock, I won't lie. But I'm the only user, so I knew it wasn't a team member playing a prank on me. I reached out to ClickUp's support team and while I haven't heard back yet, I'm confident they're working on it. I mean, they've always been on the ball with their updates, so I'm sure their customer service is just as top-notch. I'm looking forward to hearing from them soon. In the meantime, I've been exploring other features of ClickUp that I hadn't used before. It's been a bit of a silver lining, really. I've discovered new ways to organize my work and streamline my processes. It's like I've been given a fresh start, a clean slate to work from. I'm not sure what happened behind the scenes to cause this hiccup, but I trust that ClickUp is doing everything they can to prevent it from happening again. After all, they've always been proactive with their updates and improvements. I've been a user since I first discovered ClickUp and this is the first time I've encountered such an issue. So, despite this little setback, I'm still a big fan of ClickUp. I'm excited to see what new updates they have in store and I'm looking forward to getting my workspace back up and running. I'm sure this will all be a distant memory soon and I'll be back to being a happy, productive ClickUp user

Long-term User's Review: Tried and Tested ClickUp
As a seasoned user who has tried nearly every productivity/project management tool, I can confidently say that ClickUp is the best value for money. The enhancements in version 3. make the tool feel much more robust and quicker. The mobile app and widgets are somewhat limited and not as useful. However, if you primarily work on your PC, I would recommend ClickUp to any entrepreneur in search of a reliable project management tool!
