Airtable and Coda offer powerful features for organizing and collaborating on data, catering to businesses of all sizes. With user-friendly interfaces and no coding required, both tools are ideal for users of all technical levels, including beginners. Nonetheless, several key differences exist between the platforms to consider when deciding which tool is right for your business. The main difference is the platforms’ approaches to data organization. Airtable adopts a sheet or table-based structure, similar to Google Sheets or Excel. If you have experience with these tools, Airtable will present little to no learning curve. Airtable is ideal for working with large datasets, particularly structured data. Users can create custom databases and manage, view, and collaborate on their data.

Coda, on the other hand, organizes data within a document format, similar to Google Docs. This format lets users embed different elements directly into the document, including tables, sections,...

Lack of Customer and Sales Support

As a mature tech startup, we've been using Airtable for CRM and Product HW and SW services, utilizing many bases and syncing between them. However, recent changes to the subscription model have led to a significant price increase per seat per month, from 25 to 45, with a feature change - multi syncing is now only available in the more expensive option. Despite our annual spend of about 5k on Airtable, the transition time to the new pricing was too brief. We attempted to contact the sales and support team, but they failed to respond to four of our emails over the past month. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. We hope Airtable can rectify this situation.

Trusting Airtable for Efficient Information Management

Airtable has completely transformed how I handle my app development tasks. I'm a big fan of its ability to automate tedious, time-consuming tasks and the seamless connection between different tables. It enables me to efficiently store and manage opportunity data. It's user-friendly, cost-effective, and constantly evolving. Airtable has been a blessing in managing and receiving business opportunities for our marketplace. I value its integration with softrand, which allows me to have a fully functional subscription app. At first, Airtable might seem complicated due to its many features and customization options, particularly if you're not used to relational databases. However, since I switched to Airtable, my database work has become more efficient and simplified, thanks to the interface's ability to create personalized views and dashboards.

Airtable: An Amazing Tool with a But

Airtable is a great product, but there's no support when things go wrong. Despite paying for a PRO plan, a billing error has left us on a PLUS plan. I've reached out multiple times because we can't access features we use daily and despite marking this as a critical business issue, we've received no response. We need this issue resolved immediately.

In my opinion, it's the best market solution for neatly structuring data with a user-friendly interface, surpassing Google Sheets. I appreciate the ready-made templates that simplify work and facilitate data visualization. I also value the flexibility in display formats, allowing me to easily switch my table into a calendar or a form. I highly recommend Airtable for your projects.

Airtable: The Ultimate Digital Asset Management Solution

I've built my social media content library using Airtable, finding it the easiest and most user-friendly way to compile, organize, and share my content. I can sort by any category, edit, and upload files. I appreciate the ease of switching between the website and phone app. However, it might be overwhelming initially for someone not familiar with digital asset management. There are many features I haven't used because the ones I do use already provide a comprehensive experience. I think Airtable is best suited for a team and could potentially be overwhelming for a solopreneur.

Airtable: A Game Changer for Team Collaboration!

Airtable has been an excellent tool for my team, enabling us to easily search for jobs and communicate with each other. I value its versatility and customizability, which lets us adapt it to our business needs. We use it to record new customer inquiries and store all our project management data. It also aids in reducing human error and employee stress through its automation features, allowing them to concentrate on customer service and problem solving. We did encounter a difficulty in creating a customer portal and had to utilize a few other products to make it work, but we were still pleased when it started functioning. We selected Airtable because we required a custom-built solution, and it delivered, although we also use Stacker, which now has the potential to replace Airtable. We transitioned to Airtable from Quickbooks and paper files because they couldn't provide us with the ability to store the volume of data or images we needed. We continue to use Quickbooks for accounting, but not for project management.
