Notion and Todoist are excellent productivity tools that enable you to create, manage, and prioritize tasks easily. Their collaboration features help your team share information and communicate with each other, streamlining your tasks and projects. However, there is a notable difference between them regarding the scope of their application and related features. Todoist is a dedicated task manager with a focus on to-do lists. It lets you organize, label, and break down tasks and filter them by priority. You can create customized to-do lists using projects, sub-projects, tasks, and sub-tasks.

      Conflicting Emotions on Todoist

Mixed Feelings I've used the premium version of Todoist on both Android and Windows a few years ago and had no issues with the program itself or its usability. However, in some countries, the cost of the premium version is too high for most people. I believe considering these regional differences and offering a student discount would be a significant improvement. I'm also disappointed that the education discount is no longer available, even though they've promised a better one in the future. In my opinion, the company should have kept the existing benefit while developing a better and more accessible one.

Simple to Use, Tricky to Organize: A Todoist Experience

I've been using Todoist for the past 5 months since I started at my current company. I like its simplicity and how it helps me keep track of tasks and updates my team on completed tasks. However, I still prefer using the Notes App on my Mac because it lets me keep my tasks private, a feature I wish Todoist had. I find the Karma points system and notifications a bit confusing. I wish tasks wouldn't disappear from my inbox immediately after I complete them, but instead fade to a lighter color, letting me manually move them when I'm ready. I also wish I could organize tasks into folders or use some sort of color-coding. Despite these issues, I switched to Todoist because it's more straightforward and keeps everyone on my team informed.

My Journey and Experience with Todoist: A User's Perspective

I've been a dedicated user of Todoist for several years now and it's been an exciting journey watching it evolve. There have been a few bugs along the way, but the team is always quick to respond to the tickets I've raised. I appreciate their dedication to constant improvement. While there are still about 1 issues that are being worked on, I'm confident that they're on the case and will provide updates soon. One of the features I particularly enjoy is the location reminder. It's a unique feature that's still in its early stages, and currently, I can only assign it to myself. However, I'm excited about the potential it has once it's fully developed and can be assigned to others, just like the other reminders. I've encountered a few challenges, but I see them as opportunities for the software to grow and improve. I find it rewarding to report these issues, knowing that my feedback contributes to making Todoist better. It's a dynamic process and I'm thrilled to be part of it!

Organize Your Tasks Effortlessly with Todoist

For the past 4 years, I've been having an amazing experience with Todoist. The software is user-friendly and lets me access my tasks anytime, anywhere, making planning both onsite and remote tasks a breeze. Todoist helps me stay on top of my daily work by keeping me updated on my tasks, ensuring I complete them on time. The user interface is easy to use, allowing me to access my work plans without any hassle. The automation feature makes entering information easy as I only need to input basic details and it takes care of the rest of the planning, sorting, and prioritizing. I find Todoist to be affordable and perfectly suited to my work organization needs. I have absolutely no complaints about it.

      Effortless Task Management with Todoist

I appreciate the simplicity and interoperability across devices of Todoist. This simplicity even applies to the API, making it handy for tracking quick tasks. However, as tasks become larger, its usefulness diminishes. It can still serve as a reminder (a paid feature), but that's when more advanced tools become essential.

Phenomenal Simplicity in Task Management with Todoist

I appreciate the ease of use and the fantastic UI & UX of Todoist. I admire how they've considered all aspects of work and task input. I value their constant product improvement and active development team. My only minor complaint would be the price, but considering it's only the cost of a monthly coffee, it's hardly a downside.

      Outstanding Features, User-Friendly Interface

I find Todoist user-friendly across all my platforms. It operates across multiple systems and integrates smoothly without needing admin rights. It provides numerous features, including multiple lists and scheduling, and has different productivity systems incorporated. I can't identify any areas for improvement. I switched to Todoist from Planner because the latter couldn't be used across two Microsoft accounts - it was restricted to either work or personal.

An Ode to Todoist: A User's Perspective on its Quality and Support

I absolutely adore Todoist! It's an incredibly well-designed tool that has proven to be extremely useful. On the rare occasion that I encounter a bug or issue, I've found that their technical support team is always there to help. Yes, they may take a bit of time to respond to tickets, but I understand that they're dealing with a high volume of queries. It's clear they're working hard to manage their backlog and I appreciate their transparency about the process. It's been like this for about a year, but I see it as a sign of their commitment to thoroughness and quality. I've considered switching to TickTick, but I'm so deeply invested in Todoist and have such a complex set-up that I can't imagine leaving. Every interaction with their support team, even if it takes a bit longer, just reinforces my commitment to this fantastic software!

Exploring the Exciting Features and Challenges of Todoist

I'm thrilled to be using Todoist, a software that offers a feature called Track Habit. Although I've encountered some challenges connecting to it, I'm optimistic that this long-standing issue will be resolved soon. Annoying Inbox Limit for Paid Subscribers on Todoist.

I find Todoist to be quite good, but I'm disappointed that the Inbox is limited to only 3 tasks, including subtasks. Sometimes, I want to add a lot of tasks and subtasks to the Inbox and sort them into projects later, but I keep hitting the 3 task limit. As a paid subscriber, I'm surprised that this limit exists.

An Indispensable Task Management Tool for Individuals and Teams!

I find Todoist to be a pleasure to use and I highly recommend it, particularly as a starting app for teams. It has multiple features that make it user-friendly. The mobile app is minimalistic and easy to navigate. Setting up tasks, sub-tasks, adding members, communicating with the team, and managing projects is very straightforward. On Android, there's even a widget for directly adding tasks to the app. The web app is just as capable, boasting nearly all the features of the Android app. However, as a freemium service, Todoist does require users to pay for premium services and limits free users to 5 active projects, 5 collaborators per project, and 5 MB file uploads. I chose Todoist because of its ease of use and superior user interfaces. I switched to Todoist because I found its user interface easier to use.
