As a publisher, I attempted to use Workbooks for various tasks ranging from flat planning to media booking and accounts. However, due to not having one of the top packages, the product was unable to fully satisfy our needs, which I don't blame on Workbooks. I experienced regular issues with integrations with tools like Outlook, which was quite frustrating. Conversely, integration with other tools was successful and I appreciated the ability to incorporate elements like lead forensics into the lead generation application. However, the process of moving clients through the customer journey was too cumbersome. It was easy to create duplications, lose data, or set up a record and then be unable to locate the client later. This might have been due to our lack of top functionality.

The team that implemented and supported Workbooks was excellent. They paid close attention to our needs and understood our business well. The entire company was a pleasure to work with. The software fulfilled all our needs and we were able to integrate it with our back-end systems to provide a consistent version of the truth. The API was user-friendly and the integration process was fast. We also easily integrated it with other SAAS software like MailChimp and Survey Monkey. The original user interface was outdated, but that has been updated now. As a smaller vendor, Workbooks doesn't offer as many ready-made integrations as other CRM vendors like SalesForce.

I had an interesting experience with Rapid Clinics for my 2/8 day test upon returning from France. I understand the high cost (£2) of these tests from a government perspective as a deterrent to travel. However, when a private lab charges such an amount, it's clear they are investing in the necessary resources to deliver the service I paid for. To my surprise, I had to wait a week for my day-2 result. This gave me ample time to reflect on the importance of these tests and the role they play in tracking new variants. It was a bit of a thrill, chasing results and interacting with customer service agents who were still learning the ropes. The delay, while initially seeming like an inconvenience, actually highlighted the importance of these tests. It made me realize that my flatmate and I are part of a larger community effort to prevent the spread of the virus. I believe this lab should be recognized for its efforts, even if there are areas for improvement. I see this as a learning curve for them and I plan to provide constructive feedback to the relevant authorities. The professionalism may have been lacking at times, but it's clear they are dealing with a high-pressure situation. It's a reminder that we're all human and doing our best in these challenging times. I would recommend this company, with the understanding that patience and understanding are required. It's not just about getting a test, it's about contributing to a larger cause.
