      Effective Tool, If You Remember to Utilize It!

      I believe that Streak works great within Gmail and its standalone mobile app is a major plus, unlike similar apps that only work on a desktop web interface. I've had good results using the mail merge follow-up feature, but I tend to forget to regularly track Leads and Projects. My main complaint is the absence of a native reminder for tasks and follow-ups, with the only option being an email. This is annoying as the main reason I use Streak is to manage things without solely depending on email.

      With Streak, I can track multiple businesses and operations from within Gmail, although distinguishing emails can be challenging. I don't need to leave my email interface to manage customer interactions. I can customize stages and pipelines as I wish, with no limitations. It's easy for me to enter meeting and call notes, and to select the case box from each email. The read receipts for Gmail are extremely useful. However, the color-coding to distinguish emails and stages doesn't work well when I have many cases in the same stage or color. The software becomes slow if I have many tagged emails, and it doesn't load the pipelines quickly, taking time to refresh.       As a user of the paid "Pro" plan, I spend over 5,000USD per year on Streak. This review isn't about the free plan, which I believe is a good tool for personal use and basic features. As a cloud software developer, I understand the technical aspects and always provide detailed queries. However, I never receive competent responses from their support team. In one instance, it took 13 days and three nonsensical, semi-automatic replies to find out that the Streak "support" person didn't know that streak.readme.io is not just for reading documentation, but is also interactive for testing APIs. But it doesn't work and they don't seem to care. You can test this yourself by trying to use streak.readme.io. While Streak is easy to use and set up, and integrates with Gmail, it feels like a toy. The support is completely non-existent, either not responding at all or sending canned responses without any thought.

      Streak is the best platform I've used for sending and managing emails, and tracking their open and acceptance rates. It even lets me schedule when an email should be sent, which is incredibly helpful. I've been in recruiting for over two years and Streak has solved my problem of sending individual emails to candidates outside our database. Before, I had to send each candidate an email, even if the content was the same. Now, with Streak, I can maintain a personal connection with my candidates in just a few seconds. I just input the candidate's details and any personalized content into a csv comma delimited excel sheet. I can also monitor the acceptance and open rate of my emails through Streak. I've had no negative experiences with Streak and I love how it helps me fulfill my job responsibilities without losing the human touch. I hope they upgrade their system to include an applicant tracking system. If they do, I will recommend it to my colleagues.
