Unbounce is a user-friendly platform for building landing pages and conducting A/B testing. It's loaded with features that enhance my landing pages. I especially value the A/B testing feature, which lets me experiment with different versions of my landing pages. The platform also provides a handy copy-paste function between landing pages and the capability to create reusable blocks. There's a broad selection of templates available, which simplifies content decisions for my landing pages. The best part is, I can do all of this without any coding knowledge. However, I've found conversion tracking to be complex, particularly when using Google Tag Manager. Advanced tracking like events necessitates custom implementation and isn't compatible with the main integration, which can be inconvenient. I've also experienced problems with incomplete data from page variants on Google Analytics, including missing bounce stats. This makes it difficult to comprehend what's happening on my pages and enhance the conversion rate for my landing page variants.

I chose Unbounce for its integration features and design tools and switched to it for its ease of control and ability to design attractive pages easily. The vendor responded to my feedback in April 2020, expressing their pleasure at hearing that I found their popups and stickybars useful for my campaigns.

I use Unbounce to create targeted landing pages for my photography company and for several clients who partner with us in our marketing efforts. The software's best features are its user-friendliness and the elegant, simple design templates. Even without coding knowledge, I can create over four targeted landing pages per week, which allows me to focus more on research and strategy rather than design. I've eliminated the need for a middleman, making it incredibly easy to experiment with new element positions, colors, and more. The template galleries are beautiful and based on conversion-tested models, providing a great starting point. Besides design, Unbounce has simplified domain, sub-domain, and URL redirection management for me, without a steep learning curve. The reporting and analytics tools are also very helpful and easy to understand. Although it can be a bit pricey and sometimes challenging to find specific features due to the vast array of options, it's worth every penny. The help section is comprehensive and straightforward.

Graphic Designers Not Required for Stunning Landing Pages
I appreciate Unbounce for its ability to create landing pages and form popups without needing resources from development or design. I find its A/B testing features excellent for continual tweaking and optimization. There are plenty of templates, so I don't need a graphic designer or web developer to create and test landing pages. I also value the ability to A/B/C/D test pages and have Unbounce automatically optimize for the best conversions. The tech support was excellent and helped me troubleshoot our PPC tracking info/Salesforce integration. However, I find it a bit frustrating that I have to map fields to Salesforce for every popup form individually. If I want to make a change, it's not universal, so I have to go through each one again and make the change each time. I received a response from the vendor, Jen, who suggested I try out their Smart Traffic feature.

The drag and drop editor in Unbounce is one of the simplest I've used among landing page builder software. The integrations are easy and there's a large user community ready to help with any issues. However, I find the reporting quite basic and complex landing pages can be slow. The price increased a few years ago and I now find it quite expensive. As a user, buyer, and administrator of Unbounce for over 5 years, I appreciated the A/B testing and some design features. However, I was let down by the support team, which I found arrogant and unresponsive. I felt that simple features were designed to force constant upgrades and functionalities would often stop working. Overall, I found it to be a mediocre tool that caused frustration. After years of use, I realized there are better options out there. I initially chose Unbounce due to my lack of better judgement. I do appreciate the vendor's response and their willingness to address these issues to improve the user experience.

For example, if I want to set up a recurring webinar, I have to update the same landing page every week with new dates or create separate landing pages.

Seriously Disappointing Experience with Unbounce
The software, Unbounce, is worse than I initially thought. It appears visually appealing, but practically none of its features function properly. Even simple tasks like copying and pasting text are problematic, and its formatting is faulty. It attempts to be a multifunctional tool but fails in every aspect. Tasks that take 3 minutes in WordPress take a whole day in Unbounce. Despite its good looks, it's essentially useless.

During that time, software like Instapage and Unbounce were very popular, and I tested all of them, including Leadpages. Unbounce was similar to the others with its clean user interface, organized dashboard, and fewer issues. It provides many options for building a high-converting landing page and is quite easy to use, even for beginners. Features like popups and sticky bars make it a landing page platform worth considering, especially for SaaS companies. However, Unbounce is not very small business-friendly in terms of pricing, and it's easier to use a WordPress plugin if you work mostly with WordPress. I appreciate the vendor's kind words and feedback, and I'm glad to hear that I'm getting value from the builder as well as the popups and sticky bars features.
