      Highly Customizable and User-Friendly Software

      In the month that I've been using BigTime, I've had a fantastic experience! My Customer Success Manager is amazing! We had some login issues for a team member and she resolved it immediately! The software has been extremely beneficial for Project Management. We still have a training session left with our CSM at BigTime to learn more about its features and we're excited to see what else it can do! It's highly customizable and easy to use. It integrates with QuickBooks and provides excellent customer service. It offers numerous report options and customizations for project management and tracking. The Knowledge based section is very useful for learning how to use features. One minor issue is that we can't change the Project Fee to say Project Budget, but this is just a naming preference for our company. We chose BigTime because it was superior to other options we considered. We switched from DeskTime because it lacked features and its timer would shut off during timed sessions, which was not helpful for tracking.

It's also simple to train staff on how to input timesheets. However, it's slow to incorporate some features that would be beneficial for payments, such as imposing client service fees for ACH and credit card payments, and allowing us to modify payment posts if entered incorrectly or if a client overpays to track credits. I selected BigTime for its superior integration, ease of use, ability to manage multiple tasks, and ease of adjustment. I switched to BigTime because I required simpler tracking of timesheets and integration with jobs for billing, WIP tracking, retainer tracking, and integration with QBO.

      Superb Interface and Stellar Customer Service with BigTime

      Using the BigTime Wallet, I find it very easy to send and receive invoices. BigTime has significantly improved the speed at which I get paid, especially since it integrates with Quickbooks, making billing a breeze. I can get paid much faster using BigTime wallet. It's simple to use and the help desk service is excellent. I had a Zoom session with Brittany U. to discuss a problem and we were able to address it quickly. I can always count on an immediate response from the support team, or at least a prompt reply. However, some features may be difficult to use until they are explained in greater detail. For instance, I'm not sure if there's a way to add files or links to external files to a project. I switched to BigTime because I was having trouble sending bills via email. I've been getting guidance from Tyler Gubser who has been assisting me with this, as well as teaching me how to initiate client setup and the ropes of invoice drafting.

      BigTime: A Tech-Savvy Perspective on Project Management and Budgeting

      As a tech-savvy person, I find that BigTime software is causing more issues than it's solving. I think the webinars should include more user feedback, especially if there are common user problems. BigTime could be very user-friendly, but there's a learning curve. Not all features are consistent, for example, one budget report doesn't include submitted time, while another does. The data doesn't always auto-populate and the software should be able to generate numbers and percentages by itself. I shouldn't have to manually input % complete, it should be done automatically as the project progresses. The vendor responded to my concerns, acknowledging the learning curve due to BigTime's flexibility. They promised their Success Team would reach out to me to help with these specific issues and suggested I check out their Knowledge Base, which includes articles on custom reporting and creating % complete invoices. They assured me that help is on the way.

      Best Decision Our Company Ever Made

      Since I switched to BigTime, I've realized how much time I was wasting using spreadsheets, outdated time tracking software, and different project management tools for each project. Now, I'm saving time and avoiding endless headaches. Before BigTime, my organization used a mix of systems to track time, expenses, and invoice. Consolidating all these into one place has saved us over 40 man-hours a month. The customer service is also excellent. Our implementation specialist is very easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. The cost was a significant factor in choosing BigTime, but the simplicity was the real reason.
