Excellent for Basic Needs, Falls Short on Suite Integration
I had a solid experience with Zoho Mail for the 5 years I used it. It was mostly stable with no major issues and the setup was straightforward. I rarely had to switch into the "admin" role, making it quite easy for basic email tasks. However, over time, their email solution and other features felt increasingly limited. Despite being a great free product for up to 5 users, it felt like more effort than it was worth to stay on Zoho's platform when everyone else was using big names like Gsuite and O365. Zoho Mail served well as a provider for my email on my custom domain, offering all the features you would expect from a typical email provider. It was simple to set up and the UI was simple yet powerful. I was using the "free" version, which is fully featured but limited to 5 users. While it includes a lot of mail features, it is ultimately limited.

It also boasts unbeatable features like shortcut keys for quick access to preferred options like calendar, tasks, notes, attachments, etc. The interface is straightforward to use, eliminating any guesswork when navigating the app. However, I think the company could improve by offering live support for mailbox installation instead of just video tutorials. Setting up the email was somewhat challenging and required expert assistance. But once set up, the program runs smoothly. I switched to Zoho Mail because SpamTitan was too advanced and difficult for me to use.

As a new entrepreneur, I've found Zoho Social to be incredibly helpful in scheduling future posts across multiple platforms. I've been searching for a software like this for a while and even the free version has allowed me to manage my social media channels effectively. What I appreciate about the Zoho Social team is that they offer a 15-day trial period where you can enjoy the full version and schedule posts that will appear on your social media channels even after the trial ends. I've also had interactions with their customer service, who were very friendly and understanding. They were quick to resolve an issue I had with my email address.

Zoho: A Key Player in My Business Success Over the Past 4 Years
I have built five companies in the past four years and for each one, I have used Zoho. I have used various products including Mail, Inventory Manager, the HR platform, and more. I am amazed at how seamless the integration between these products is and how user-friendly the platform is, offering what seems like hundreds of different products. Despite my technical background, many of my employees who don't have one, can manage customizing and setting up new domains just fine. I absolutely love Zoho! There's nothing I really dislike, although at times it can be frustrating when I make mistakes in integration setups, but that's on me. I switched to Zoho Mail because it was cheaper and smaller.

Zoho Mail is a reasonable choice for companies, particularly for light email users. However, it falls short when compared to professional software like Google Workspace. The overall experience with Zoho needs enhancement. The primary benefit of Zoho Mail is its cost - it's only a dollar per user with limited storage, which is advantageous for startups aiming to minimize expenses. It met our needs for the first two years. However, the overall user experience isn't impressive - it feels outdated and sometimes emails don't sync properly. It's also more convenient to use Google login for services rather than a custom email. For example, accessing a Google doc shared to my work email was challenging because I didn't have a Google account for that email. Setting up email clients with IMAP configurations was also difficult. I opted for Zoho Mail because it was significantly cheaper than other options. I switched to Zoho Mail because Yandex was unreliable.

Zoho Social Experience Review
The free version of Zoho Mail offers basic analytics, which, while not comprehensive, are better than nothing. I believe the free version should include more features, especially the calendar view, which I find extremely useful. I appreciate the ability to write posts ahead of time and schedule them, but I strongly feel this feature should also be included in the free version.

Great App BUT Terrible Customer Service
The app is good, but the customer support is terrible. Whenever I try to chat with support, I get a message saying they missed me and will get back to me shortly, but shortly often means days. Once I report an error, they disappear until I send reminders. Some of my friends have switched to Quickbooks, which might be more customer-friendly. Zoho, you're going to lose customers if you don't improve your support!

An Unrivaled, User-Friendly Email Client: Zoho Mail
I absolutely love Zoho Mail. It's user-friendly and even the free version offers more functionality and support than other email clients like Gmail. I find the inbox management particularly useful, especially the ability to use aliases for different email inbox delivery. I started using Zoho Mail as a free mail client that could be customized with a personal domain, and I've since switched all three of my businesses over. It's easy to use and integrates with the entire Zoho suite, streamlining my business operations. I find the voice typing feature fantastic, especially when I'm on the move and need to respond quickly, which I can do via the app. The Workdrive is similar to Google Drive, allowing me to store all my documents for easy access. I can also add events and meetings to the calendar or create tasks. The collaboration feature is excellent for employee interaction within an organization, enabling quick chats or maintaining a response history without the need for constant email exchanges. I can create channels for each department to keep.

I highly recommend Zoho Mail, as I've been using it for about four years now with minimal to no issues. I was initially attracted to Zoho because it allowed me to have five email addresses with individual mailboxes under one custom domain for free, which is especially beneficial for entrepreneurs and startups. Even though the custom domain has to be purchased, the functionality is impressive, even compared to paid services. I appreciate that Zoho Mail isn't "spammy" and maintains strong security. It's a platform I'd recommend to other business owners and entrepreneurs, especially given its ongoing improvements and addition of useful tools like the MX record checker. I value Zoho Mail's performance and reliability, which is enhanced by features like adding SPF and DKIM entries in the domain DNS and adjusting MX records. However, these settings could be challenging for some depending on their skill level.

I think Zoho Mail is brilliant. I've been using the Zoho ONE Ecosystem for over three years now. Despite having limited programming experience and little software development knowledge beyond some experiments in Javascript and Visual Basic, I've managed to build several business apps that are used daily on Zoho Creator, integrated with Zoho Workdrive. I've also used Flow, Zoho Mail, and Zoho Zeptomail. As a fast-moving company, sometimes things don't work or changes occur, but Zoho is always there to assist and solve issues. I highly recommend Zoho to any company wanting to try working with low code systems. I currently manage three small companies with a total of around 2 users. My account manager checks in every couple of months and is always available via email to help sort things out.
