I find GoDaddy to be a good solution for organizations wanting a simple site with easy editing capabilities. The templates are basic but meet most needs. Some controls, like alternating text blocks, aren't as flexible or quick to use. Copying and pasting can be a bit cumbersome, but it works fine once you get used to it. Logging in and navigating to relevant pages is straightforward, and I appreciate the helpful preview mode. Publishing is simple, requiring just one click. Advanced features are hidden but not hard to find when needed. However, I found that SSL integration wasn't as seamless as implied, requiring a separate purchase and not allowing for cheaper third-party vendors. My biggest issue is feeling "locked in" to GoDaddy's ecosystem for certain add-ons. I chose GoDaddy Website Builder because it's easy to use and set up for both basic and advanced users, accommodating for varying skill levels of assigned web developers.

Called to Cancel Website Trial Offer
I called to cancel a trial offer on my website, but instead, my domain was removed from my account. Despite re-explaining my request, the process took an excessive amount of time, around 18 minutes or more, and I couldn't stay on the line. Even though I had given recorded verbal permission, I was told the cancellation couldn't be completed. To make matters worse, I discovered I was charged a renewal fee for a domain I had just purchased.

I have been a GoDaddy user for two decades and have always been satisfied with their services. Their tech support is excellent and has always resolved any issues I've encountered. This product has significantly reduced my stress by making it quick and efficient to create a website for a client. I'm even considering using it for my own company's website, which I'm currently having problems with. The setup is straightforward, and it's easy to input initial data, make minor or major changes, and maintain the site. They offer great templates, graphics, and useful features. For example, I can easily update a weekly article by copying the previous week's article, making a few changes, and inserting the new text. The pricing is also very reasonable. However, like any other "shortcut" software, customization was a bit challenging. I also had difficulty applying a security certificate to the site. But their fantastic tech support quickly resolved this issue. I chose GoDaddy Website Builder.
