      I find Truelark to be effective and easy to use. I appreciate its thoroughness in handling missed client calls and automatically sending them a message. I enjoy the customization options for handling and booking my appointments. However, I dislike that my personal contacts receive automated messages when they call. I wish the system could recognize certain numbers to prevent this. I also wish I could transfer my Google Voice phone number over. The vendor responded to my review, informing me that it is possible to prevent certain numbers from receiving automated messages and that they do integrate with Google Voice. They advised me to contact Customer Success for assistance.

      Embrace the Freedom with TrueLark!

      I find Truelark to be highly responsive and capable of handling the tasks I assign. I value the autonomy it provides by removing the need for a receptionist. Every call is answered and my clients appreciate the text messaging service. However, I sometimes need to repeat my instructions and I dislike making calls to clients who don't respond to AI texts. Also, locating the correct service on the menu can occasionally be difficult. I've suggested that if a service isn't listed on the menu, the client should be scheduled for a consultation and I'll take it from there. I've lost clients due to this issue, which is detrimental to my business. Furthermore, a credit card is absolutely required to book an appointment. Groupon customers can't schedule a treatment unless they first have a consultation and can only be booked on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. No exceptions. A credit card is necessary even if they possess a voucher.

      I've had some issues with forwarding and picking up missed calls, but the customer service at FrontdeskAI has been very helpful and efficient. I like how friendly the software is when texting with clients, it does a great job of making them feel supported. It's also easy to integrate with our booking software, Mindbody. However, it's not the easiest platform to customize. I can't see the text messages between clients and the AI, and I can't interject and change the conversation. I switched to TrueLark because FrontdeskAI integrates with Mindbody and handles the texting for us. I shared this feedback with the team in October 2019.

I'm less concerned about missing calls, knowing that Rep can handle any arising issues. My past experiences with call center answering services were unsatisfactory due to their lack of integration with our scheduling system and unfamiliarity with our business. Front Desk, on the other hand, offers a futuristic alternative that even our less tech-savvy clients find easy to use. I value its ease of use, the ability to write my own scripts, and the outstanding customer service. There were some initial glitches and errors, but most have been fixed. However, I'm still unable to view a transcript of a conversation, which can be difficult when following up with a client. I'm also not happy with the delay in forwarding voicemails. Despite these issues, I received a positive response from the vendor, who informed me that their recent Live Dashboard release allows customers to see chat transcripts.
