  • High-quality design and email builder: The platform's design and email builder are top-notch, allowing users to design templates and send email campaigns with ease

  • Strict anti-spam measures: Mailjet has strict anti-spam measures in place, ensuring that most emails get delivered and reducing the risk of your emails being marked as spam

  • User-friendly template creator: The Mailjet template creator is easy to use, particularly if you're familiar with other template creators. The saved sections feature simplifies the creation process

  • Good value for medium-sized businesses: Despite being a bit high-priced compared to some open source and self-hosted options, Mailjet offers the best value for medium-sized businesses, providing a balance between cost and features.

Cons from reviewers

  • High pricing: Despite being a good SASS product, Mailjet's pricing is considered high compared to some open source and self-hosted options, which can be a deterrent for some users

  • Poor customer service: Some users have reported poor customer service experiences with Mailjet, including slow response times and unsatisfactory resolutions to issues.

Mailjet is a budget platform that works well for beginners or small businesses. It provides a range of tools to create email campaigns. The email builder is easy to use. There are plenty of design options to choose from. Moreover, it offers integrations and excellent tracking features. However, this platform falls short in terms of managing lists, segmenting audiences, and customer support when compared to other platforms. Mailjet is an option for those who want a budget solution to manage simple email marketing campaigns and handle transactional emails. It offers developer features like an API that allows you to customize functionalities if you have access to a developer.

On the other hand, Mailchimp is an email marketing platform that covers all the bases. It offers reports and an intuitive interface that guides users through its functions smoothly while providing personalized tips along the way. The email templates and testing features are also praiseworthy. However, there is room...

Account Shut Down for Alleged 'Phishing' Emails via Mailjet

I use Mailjet solely for sending Gitlab notifications. Suddenly, I received an email stating that my account was closed because I was allegedly sending phishing emails. I checked my server and found that only legitimate notification emails were sent. I asked for proof to verify if there was a leak or something similar, but they refused to provide any due to security reasons. I am very disappointed with this company's lack of customer service and I will make sure to share my experience within my network.

      Jen's Take on Mailjet: A User's Perspective

Email marketing is essential and Mailjet is a user-friendly product that delivers. Their customer service is well-informed and their template-based emails are visually pleasing. However, I find its mobile compatibility to be average, rating it 3/5, as the screen display constantly changes with every click, which can be quite annoying.

Emails on the Fly with Mailjet!

I appreciate the wide range of email templates offered by Mailjet, which make sending and receiving emails for marketing campaigns and automated messages easier. I find the ability to add and remove people from your email structure useful. I'm also impressed by the feature that allows you to lock the email and grant specific permissions to certain people, assigning each person a role within the Mailjet system. However, while it's great for B2B, it doesn't seem to be focused on self-owned start-up businesses.

      Facing Challenges with Mailjet

I chose to stop using Mailjet due to its expensive pricing and poor customer service. While I liked the easy-to-use interface and the creative tools for designing engaging emails, these benefits did not make up for the drawbacks. I had problems with some of my emails and was disappointed with the customer service response, which resulted in missed deadlines. This was not acceptable, so I switched to a different service. I initially picked Mailjet because it was less expensive than Mailchimp. However, despite their response to my complaints and their offer to enhance my experience, I chose not to continue with their service.

      Top-tier Newsletter Service: Mailjet

Overall, I consider Mailjet a good service for creating and sending weekly newsletters on a budget. It features a user-friendly newsletter builder and provides a free plan that lets me send up to 6000 emails monthly. It can also function as a mail delivery service like an SMTP. However, if I need to send more than 6000 emails a month, a paid subscription is necessary. Compared to other services, it can be somewhat expensive. I opted for Mailjet due to its reliable newsletter delivery, easy-to-use builder, and the opportunity to try the service for free before committing to a subscription.

      Extremely Slow/Non-Existent Support

I'm disappointed with Mailjet's very slow support, if any. I had hoped that paying for their service would improve this, but I was mistaken. Their offerings seem promising, but they fail to deliver. It appears we're losing important emails, which is quite concerning. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed.

Exploring Mailjet: A User's Perspective on its Pros and Cons

Overall, my experience with Mailjet has been positive. I wish there was a way to customize image padding more than what's currently offered. I also believe the paragraph spacing could be improved. I'd like to create different spacing within the same text box without all the text adapting to the same space size. However, uploading contact lists and creating email templates has been smooth. I appreciate its user-friendliness and intuitiveness for first-time users. My least favorite aspect is the lack of control over mobile design optimization. It automatically scales larger or smaller than a phone screen, which means I can't design for one platform (desktop) without considering how it'll appear on mobile, as it's not mobile optimized. I chose Mailjet because it offered the most value for money. I switched to Mailjet from Dynamics due to limitations in creating rich-media emails.

Avoid if Sending High-Volume Email Campaigns

Overall, I found Mailjet suitable for sending a small number of emails with webhooks and API calls. However, for large scale campaigns, it could potentially damage your email list size due to the lack of functionality around reengagement campaign parameters. The sales people and customer support were very pleasant. If you're looking to use the free tier or send a low volume of emails, MailJet will suffice. However, if you're comparing it with ConstantContact, SendGrid, Selligent etc, I would not recommend MailJet. MailJet does not allow clients to use them as a databasing tool. For instance, if you have a segment of users who are engaged and have opened 20 times in the last 30 days and you want to get those email addresses to push into Facebook to find a look alike audience, you can't. MailJet won't let you access that data. They also blacklist your softbouncing emails in the background and limit the characters in subject lines. I switched.

Not too bad, but tough to cancel plan.

Mailjet is a good service if you need to send emails once or twice a month to many recipients. However, I'm giving it 2 stars because it's very complicated to cancel the plan. The cancellation process is hidden and complex. Also, they don't send reminders before charging you, which would be nice.

      Exploring Mailjet: A User's Perspective

I appreciate the simplicity of Mailjet. Despite its flaws, I find the online email editor useful and managing lists straightforward. The scenarios are easy to construct and effective. I use Mailjet's professional servers and am very satisfied with the mail delivery rate. However, I find the interface not user-friendly, especially if you're familiar with other services. A significant part of it doesn't work as expected and it can take a while to keep trying a task before the system responds. The server's response time is painfully slow.

Considering the Cost, Mailjet is Almost Flawless

I find the Mailjet template creator easy to use, particularly if you're familiar with other template creators. I like the "saved sections" feature in the template creator as it simplifies the creation process. I view Mailjet's strict anti-spam measures as a positive, as most of my emails get delivered. For our company's newsletter frequency, Mailjet is perfect. However, for transactional emails, we use Marsello due to its extensive segment properties. Choosing a mail software can be stressful as many companies charge significantly more as your list grows. In my view, Mailjet offers the best value for medium-sized businesses. However, if you want to use segmentation, you need to upgrade to higher payment tiers. I tested their segment tiers and wasn't overly impressed, so I decided to downgrade. I switched to Mailjet because Mailchimp has become significantly more expensive over the years.
