I've discovered that Teamwork is the best project management solution for my tailored services. As a Private Investigation firm owner, I've tried numerous options before choosing Teamwork. It allows me to customize it to suit my unique needs. I especially value the feature that lets me add my clients as "Client Users", allowing them to message me, comment on each completed task, and stay updated on the project. I can set up email notifications for my clients after each task completion, which is very convenient. Setting up Teamwork does require some time, and I expect to continuously adjust settings for each investigation. The project templates could be easier to set up and view, but once done, it's undoubtedly the most effective and useful project management solution for my business.

My experience with Teamwork has been disappointing, leading me to consider other options. I appreciate its integration with other products like Desk and its relative ease of use, but I've faced numerous errors. Updates are rolled out during business hours without warning, often causing lost work. Various features stop working unexpectedly and customer service is slow to fix these issues, if they fix them at all. For example, emails have not been working for the past two weeks. Despite notifying support and being told after five days that the issue was resolved, it still continues. Also, the system becomes extremely slow when managing many tasks. However, Teamwork has expressed their willingness to improve my experience and resolve these problems.

I've been a loyal user of Teamwork since its inception, investing thousands in subscription fees over the years. I've always had a soft spot for it, they even sent me socks as a Christmas gift once! After they were acquired, they've been rolling out updates that have transformed the platform in a way that's truly unique. Their billing model is also quite innovative, with a minimum of 3 users billed annually. However, I've recently discovered a new combination that works perfectly for me - Asana for management and Harvest for time tracking. I'm absolutely thrilled with this new setup. A few years ago, I had the pleasure of using Teamwork for a project and was thoroughly impressed by the user experience. Recently, I decided to sign up again and was intrigued by the unique onboarding process, which involved emailing for a link and receiving an OTP. It was a different approach, but it added an extra layer of security that I appreciated. What really stands out about Teamwork is their support system. While they don't have a chat or intercom, they do offer email support. This allows them to provide detailed, thoughtful responses to any issues you might encounter. Yes, it might take a bit longer, but the quality of the support is worth the wait. As for the system itself, it's refreshingly unique. There are occasional glitches, but these are opportunities for improvement and growth. It's clear that Teamwork is a company that's always evolving and striving to provide the best possible service. I'm excited to continue my journey with Teamwork and see how they continue to improve and innovate. After my contract ends, I'm considering exploring Zen, but for now, I'm fully committed to making the most of my Teamwork experience.

I find the features of Teamwork to be quite comprehensive, although they may take a bit of time to discover within the user interface. The software has a robust feel to it, with hover-pop-ups that take a moment to appear, adding a sense of anticipation. Tagging people, dragging tasks, or opening/closing/toggling the UI all have a deliberate pace, which allows me to take a moment and ensure I'm making the right moves. The app has a solid, substantial feel to it, which gives me a sense of stability and reliability. On the days I use Teamwork extensively, I always leave the office feeling like I've accomplished something substantial. I can totally understand the 5-star reviews, as this software has a depth and solidity that I find very reassuring.
