However, despite its popularity, it sometimes feels like a beginner's CRUD application. The various modules can make it feel a bit crowded and it seems to suffer from 'featurism'. When I shared my feedback, the vendor explained that Teamleader is designed to handle the entire workflow, which might feel crowded to some, but works for 95% of their users. They assured me that they never add unnecessary features. They also believe that Teamleader looks better than most of the competition, but they are working on a makeover to improve the functional design.

      I've been using Teamleader since 2014 and have never had any problems. The CRM is simple and comprehensive, which made it easy to sell to my sales team. I'm also impressed with the mobile app integration. However, I think the project management module could have more functionality for complex projects. For such tasks, I suggest using a dedicated project management software like MS-Project. After my review, the vendor thanked me and said they've recently updated their project features to improve efficiency.       Overall, I believe Teamleader is an excellent app! I certainly receive good support. I perceive it as a pleasant online customer-based system with a satisfactory overall user experience. It's wonderful to have a snapshot of my customers and deals, and I value being able to track the progress of a project on the timeline. I also appreciate the ability to create my own templates for offers and contracts for my customers. However, I find it annoying that I can't upload multiple files at once for a single customer - I have to upload them individually, which is time-consuming and occasionally frustrating. The same applies to deleting files. Additionally, I don't consider the price particularly affordable, and I'm convinced there must be cheaper alternatives available. In response to my review, the vendor suggested exploring their integration with Dropbox to make adding and removing files less time-consuming.

However, I am disappointed with the lack of flexibility and ease of use. The software is quite rigid and the user interface isn't always user-friendly, particularly when managing projects and budgets. It works well for fixed-price projects with clear start and end dates, milestones, and tasks, but struggles with retainer contracts. Time tracking is also time-consuming, making it difficult to get everyone on board. The vendor responded to my feedback, suggesting adding monthly or quarterly milestones for projects with flexible end dates and retainer fees. They also mentioned that they are working on improving the time tracking feature.

      Poor Customer Support Experience

      I selected and implemented Team Leader in 2018 after considering various software options. The tool has numerous advantages but also several drawbacks. For example, I operate in the Italian market and there's no feature to segment my prospects by province as the Italian provinces are not incorporated in the system. I brought this issue to the attention of customer service who assured a solution within 3 months. However, the deadline has passed and the issue is still unresolved, which is very disappointing. On the bright side, the software is user-friendly and has an intelligent frontend layout, although the project management feature could be enhanced. The vendor responded to my review, apologized for the delay, and assured me that they have been working hard to include the provinces and improve the project features. They also urged me to contact them if I have any other issues. I received this response in December 2020.
