I quickly began using its Agent Procedures and reports modules and gradually integrated more of its features. The software is powerful, particularly for Windows patching which is granular, user-friendly, and comprehensive. Its Agent Procedures and Policies allow for significant customization and it can run practically any script. LiveConnect is fast and efficient, offering a wealth of tools. The Reports, Alerts, and Audit modules provide detailed and customizable information once understood. However, I've encountered persistent GUI issues that have remained unresolved for years, including screens not refreshing, inconsistent filtering, misleading wording in scheduling boxes, and difficulty in selecting multiple items. The "View" feature, while powerful, is clumsy to manage. The way installation packages are created is also problematic, especially if you have more than a dozen OUs.

      As an IT Security Manager at a large confectionery broker, I've found Kaseya VSA to be instrumental in overcoming challenges with outdated software, missing updates, and new software deployment. I've used it to identify devices running old versions of Office and Windows XP, 7, 8, and 8.1, which has made updating all our devices to the latest Office and Windows 10 much easier. I manage over 250+ devices single-handedly with the help of Kaseya VSA and couldn't perform my daily tasks without it. It's not just for MSPs, but for anyone needing assistance in managing their office and field assets. However, I do have one complaint - the app's functionality can be inconsistent. For example, right-clicking the client app sometimes brings up a menu, and other times it only offers a "Refresh" option. This is my only issue in the 3 years I've been using this product.
