      Wow. I wish I had checked Hootsuite's reviews before signing up for their trial. They offered a 6-day trial, which I signed up for, providing my credit card details in good faith and noting the trial end date. The tool was average, mainly useful for scheduling social media posts in advance, but had limited tagging capabilities, so I stopped using it after just two weeks. I cancelled the subscription a day before the trial ended, but the following week, Hootsuite sent me an invoice. I thought maybe my cancellation didn't go through. The next day, my bank called to inform me that they had blocked my credit card due to a suspected fraudulent transaction of over $1 from Hootsuite! I had already cancelled my subscription and did not authorize any charges. My bank has since cancelled my credit card, issued me a new one, and is disputing the charge. Now, I not only face a potential charge of S$177, but I also have to unlink my credit card from all my other bills/payments and link it with the new card that I'm waiting for from my bank.
