In my opinion, while many companies have tried and failed to solve 1:1 marketing, Emarsys stands out. It provides a unique platform for B2C companies, similar to what B2B companies have been using. The implementation time is lengthy, but that's expected given the complexity of B2C 1:1 email marketing.

The AB testing is user-friendly and produces impressive results for both B2C and B2B companies. Emarsys is simply superb at managing your leads and prospects based on their activities. However, its reporting feature is not the best for such a great platform, as it's quite basic. It does provide revenue insights, but from my experience, it needs some adjustments when reporting on sales or revenue metrics, as the data is not always 100% accurate.

Since I started using Emarsys, my revenue has significantly grown. This increase wasn't due to more work, but rather less, thanks to the platform's time-saving features. Besides revenue, I could easily monitor campaign performance through the KPIs. Before discovering this time-saving tool, I tried several platforms, but Emarsys was the game changer. The platform was very easy to set up; I quickly completed the onboarding process and instantly fell in love with it. Everything about Emarsys is hassle-free: the UX, the ease of use, the integrations, and the blueprints for various automations. There was a time when it used to load slowly, but I haven't had that experience in a long time.

I use emarsys for all our mass mailing needs, including newsletters and sales, as well as for marketing and campaign automation and user tracking. The support provided is excellent and the tool is constantly evolving with new features that greatly assist in optimizing marketing. The new email editor (VCE) is user-friendly and offers extensive personalization options, especially for ecommerce. When combined with WebChannel and the automation center's capabilities (node programming), it allows for the creation of powerful marketing automation. However, I find the WebDocumentation can sometimes be a bit tricky.

Emarsys is a powerful email marketing platform, perfect for eCommerce stores with hundreds or thousands of products. It collects a lot of data from campaigns, website engagement, and contact events. My favorite feature is their block-based email campaign creation interface, which supports advanced development and gives me control over my email design. However, the cost is quite high and competes with enterprise-level pricing. It's an obvious choice for businesses with a high volume of transactions generating multi-million dollar revenue, but for others, a more affordable solution might be more suitable. I chose Emarsys because other products didn't convince me they were worth the switch. I had invested time and staff into transitioning from Mailchimp and wasn't ready to switch to another solution without serious consideration.

Emarsys is a great software overall and the team is supportive and reliable. However, I find that the amount of work and training needed to understand the system is quite substantial. It's excellent if you have a large database with plenty of segmented information to explore and maximize the system's potential. But, for a small or medium-sized company with limited detailed information in the database, it can quickly become an expensive lesson. The system offers numerous options and scenarios to develop, which can sometimes be overwhelming for the marketing team. I chose Emarsys over other options because it allowed us to dig deep into our database, segment, and target people based on specific information or their behavior on our website.

Powerful CRM and ESP Solution with Emarsys
Before I started using Emarsys, I was using MailChimp and was in search of a system that offered better analytics and allowed me to incorporate customer behavioral data from our physical stores. Emarsys turned out to be an excellent solution for this. It allows me to view both our online and offline customer behavior and sales data in one place, which is crucial for a comprehensive customer view. Building emails using the drag and drop templates was quite straightforward, and I was able to get started in a day with minimal training. I must also mention our account manager who has been fantastic and extremely helpful. However, building an email automation can be challenging. If I want to use the same email for multiple sends, I have to create duplicates of the email. If I don't, and I try to add the same email to the automation workflow, it automatically duplicates the email, making it hard to keep track of which email is which if I need to go back and make edits. Figuring out how this worked took some time.
