Mastering Onboarding with Trainual
I find Trainual excellent for onboarding new employees. I value the different ways to create and organize content, as well as the ability to divide training modules or lessons and control the order in which the user progresses through them. However, I wish the user permissions were more adaptable. I have team leaders who need to oversee new users during training, but I don't want them to have access to edit content. I also find it difficult to add an mp4. At the moment, I label it as "Training Video 1" and attach a URL to the video, but it would be more convenient to embed the mp4 like a YouTube video. I switched to Trainual because of its superior UI/UX and integrated tools for managing content and users. The vendor responded to my feedback, promising improvements to permissions soon and said they would share my video file feedback with the team.

Challenging to Navigate
My experience with Trainual was disappointing and I felt it was a waste of both time and money. Despite spending nearly $1k, I ended up cancelling my subscription with nothing to show for it. I found the setup process burdensome and the software's usage confusing. There was no clear start or end point, and no suggested workflow. Even though there were many integrations available, there were no clear instructions on how to best utilize them. The cost of the software was also a concern, as it is an ongoing expense for the lifetime of your business. I felt that it needed to be implemented immediately to demonstrate its value, but it did not account for the setup process. I chose Trainual because it was included in my usage account and I thought that by simply creating a table of contents, I could achieve the same functionality. However, the vendor responded to my review, apologizing for my dissatisfaction and offering to assist with easier implementation.

Essential Tool You Didn't Know You Were Missing!
I absolutely adore Trainual. It's become the backbone of our company, simplifying the process of documenting our operations. Prior to Trainual, I often felt like I was merely keeping things afloat based on my memory or the knowledge of other team members. Now, we're able to capture everything, sometimes even in real-time. I intend to use Trainual indefinitely. I value its features, but more importantly, I admire its philosophy and approach. The platform is flexible, intuitive, and consistently updated with features that benefit its users. The organization of the content and the template gallery make it easy to generate new content. However, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement. Firstly, I'd like the directory to be accessible via the mobile app, as we frequently onboard new hires who need to access it from their phones. Secondly, I'd like time stamping to track each time a subject/topic/step is completed by each employee. This would be especially helpful for providing documentation to the labor department.

Essential Tool for Streamlining Small Business Operations
I value Trainual for its capacity to store all our content in one location. Unlike SharePoint, which demands file formats, Trainual is simpler and minimizes the chance of misplacing files or forgetting their names. It permits multiple admins and view-only users. I can monitor my team's progress in the training process with the assessment trackers. I enjoy having complete control over everything within Trainual, including the ability to add, remove, or modify anything. I don't need to request permission to add content to our training guides. I can initiate a guide and leave it until I'm ready to publish, revisiting it without anyone seeing it or my work getting lost. It supports banners, document inserts, videos, YouTube, and other apps. I can even record my screen with the Chrome extension. The cost is fair, and it can store a lot of data. The templates are also very useful. After a year of use, I don't have many complaints about Trainual.

Aside from helping me with my onboarding process, I really enjoy Trainual's newsletter. I always anticipate the next one and draw inspiration from their content. I've even adopted some processes based on their suggestions or used their documentation as a model for our own. I really value Trainual!The product is user-friendly and has a superb UI design, which has expedited our onboarding process. I haven't faced any issues with the features I've used. Occasionally, I find the filters a bit challenging, but I think that's mostly on me.Upon giving my feedback, the vendor thanked me and expressed their joy in being able to save me time and create excellent experiences for my new hires. They also offered assistance if I run into any issues with filtering. They responded in November 2023.

Totally Smitten with Trainual!
Once I had Trainual set up, I found it incredibly easy to create SOPs for our various teams. The new Chrome extensions have significantly enhanced my experience! The support provided is excellent and the system is very intuitive for the end-user. Both admins and users, including myself, are big fans. The set-up process can be challenging, but they offer one-on-one support, migration services, and a wealth of user guides, videos, and training. I chose Trainual because it offered better pricing, unmatched customer support, and I appreciated the integrations and ability to set permissions on folders and subfolders. The vendor responded positively to my review in March 2023.

I find Trainual to be a useful software that allows for quick sorting and searching of data. Having everything pre-set makes it easier for me to find specific concepts later on. It's beneficial for tracking my own and my team's training progress. The onboarding time is reduced and efficiency is increased as our team receives continuous training and development. I appreciate the simple interface and the addition of Loom, which provides excellent onboarding training materials. However, I do find it disappointing that the training doesn't extensively use gaming techniques, which I believe are important for engaging today's workforce. I switched to Trainual because it eliminates the worry of losing or misplacing numerous documents detailing our company's policies and procedures regarding its technical operations. The vendor responded positively to my review and promised to share my feedback about gamification with the team.

Trainual is an excellent tool that I use to remind myself how to complete infrequent tasks or tasks usually assigned to someone else. Whenever I'm unsure about a procedure, Trainual has me covered, as long as the author has written clear instructions. I find it easy to follow these step-by-step instructions and correct any flaws without having to start from scratch. It's simple to keep instructions up-to-date in Trainual, and it acts as a living document that I can modify as needed. As our company grows, our procedures grow with us, and Trainual allows us to update our task instructions accordingly. The only downside I've noticed is the many formatting options for posts, which can lead to a lack of uniformity in instruction tasks. We switched to Trainual because we needed a platform that could grow with our company smoothly and quickly.
