While I wouldn't call Softr the best website builder out there, it's currently the one that integrates best with Airtable, which suits my needs for creating landing pages. It allows for some visual and functional improvisations. Softr recently raised funds and I believe it will significantly improve its platform's functionality and performance in the coming months. The process of creating a website, deploying, and making real-time updates is very smooth. I use Softr to create landing pages for specific user groups in my Airtable, and its seamless integration with Airtable makes this task easy. However, Softr provides pre-built blocks, but it's impossible to add extra functions to these blocks. This limitation often requires improvisation with blocks to compensate for its functional shortcomings. For example, I might want to add a second button within a "Hero block" to link to different parts of my website, but the block only allows for one button. This can be frustrating, but it's a common issue with most.

I was able to build and set up a fully functional and relatively complex user front-end for our Airtable data within a few days without any coding, which is simply amazing! Softr is flexible enough to design almost all front-end interfaces needed for your data to be accessed by external users. There are still a few rough edges, but I expect these to be smoothed out as it's a new and rapidly growing company. I chose Softr for these reasons. I switched to Softr from Stacker because Stacker is much more limited and restrictive in how you can present and display your Airtable data, and it's significantly more expensive.

I am using Softr to create internal tools for my team and prototype features for our customers. Compared to other no-code Airtable development apps, Softr is simpler to use, provides more features, has a significantly better appearance, and is much more cost-effective. If I had to offer any criticism, it would be that their documentation could be improved. I chose Softr over Stackerhq because it is far superior and more affordable, and it is much easier to use than Webflow and Bubble. The affordability and simplicity of Softr have resulted in substantial ROI gains compared to other no-code apps.

No 2FA or MFA for Site Owners on Softr
The software, Softr, lacks 2FA or MFA for site owners. The support team refused to schedule a meeting to discuss this issue, only stating that it's on their roadmap. This means a simple password is all that's needed for someone to access your entire site unless you've registered with Google Sign-In. I believe 2FA/MFA is crucial for site owners and collaborators to protect sensitive data.

Top-tier No-Code Web/App Builder on the Market!
I was able to build my site prototype and main website within a week after getting feedback from others. Softr meets all the necessary requirements and is incredibly easy to use. The plug and play content blocks available in the dashboard save a lot of time when designing a website experience. A small but significant feature is how the CTA buttons automatically adjust to the size of the text. If you're a marketer or entrepreneur, Softr can help you get your MVP up and running very quickly. The biggest advantage is that it reduces the need for multiple teams to build a website. Now that they've made desktop usage so easy, I wonder if this can also be done for mobile? Maybe it's too much to ask, but if Softr could achieve this level of ease for mobile devices, it would make many other apps obsolete! I would also suggest adding a place where we can source and customize illustrations. I switched to Softr for its simplicity and standardization of website blocks.
