      Right from the Start!

      As one of the first Canadian users of simPRO, before they established their US presence, I found them to be incredibly accommodating. Despite the time difference, they went above and beyond to ensure our implementation went smoothly, even coming in to work early to catch us at the end of our day. Once we went live, they were very responsive to our change requests. simPRO Enterprise is functional and constantly improving. It's quick to load and easy to navigate. The level of customer service and attention to user requests during our setup and subsequent upgrades was impressive. There is a learning curve, but with a competent implementation team, it's manageable. We switched to simPRO because of its online and remote usability, which was a significant advantage for our company. QuickBooks Online just wasn't there yet. In response to my review, simPRO thanked me and reminded me to reach out to their Customer Support team or visit their Help Guide if I ever need additional help.

      Excellent SMB Solution with Simpro

      I find Simpro to be quite good. The support improved when it transitioned from Australia to local US support. However, things have regressed since the representative left, and the support isn't the same. I believe this is largely due to the representative's extensive experience with implementations. The software is easy to use, functional, and easy to scale up and down. However, I dislike that I can't remove the ability for security groups to download whatever is on the screen, which poses a significant data security issue. I should be able to limit employees' ability to download a CSV file from any screen, which could potentially expose my pipeline, customer list, etc. to anyone. This lack of control makes the product almost unusable due to our own customers' security requirements. I chose Simpro because the fire testing portion of the product seemed to be the best we looked at. We switched from Dice Matrix's integrated service platform because it didn't offer full end-to-end functionality for our security/fire.

      I've had a disappointing experience with simPRO's customer support. Despite several attempts, I was unable to meet with a support member in Denver on three separate occasions. This made me feel like simPRO doesn't value their long-term clients. They don't seem to listen to our needs or concerns, instead suggesting we need more training. However, I found the dispatching, purchase order, estimating, and billing functions of the software to be excellent. The job costing, tax reporting, time tracking, and reporting functions, on the other hand, don't work well. These are crucial tools for managing a business. I chose simPRO for its functionality, but it fell short when it came to managing our business. I switched to simPRO for its mobile application. In response to my feedback, simPRO stated that their Customer Success & Support team is available 24/6 and that they value their customers. They also mentioned that they welcome customers to their Denver office.

      Transitioning to SimPro: A Fire and Security Company's Experience

      I run a fire and security company and was introduced to SimPro in April 22, as I was contemplating a switch from Alarm Master. I had the pleasure of speaking with a delightful salesperson, Annette, who was new to the team but eager to learn. SimPro coordinated a video meeting with myself, my IT person, Annette, and another knowledgeable woman, Leslie, who was an expert in Alarm Master. The purpose of the meeting was to understand the process of migrating data from our previous system to SimPro. We were informed that we would only need to manually enter our customers' contract start and end dates, which seemed like a manageable task. Excited by the prospect, I decided to go with SimPro. During the implementation training, we discovered that we would need to manually create a site for each of our over 4 customers. This was a surprise, but Annette was quick to confirm this and tirelessly worked to find a solution. SimPro, in their commitment to customer satisfaction, decided to partially refund me. They are currently holding onto over £1 of my money, but I am confident that they are working on a resolution. I have involved my solicitor and initiated court action, but I believe this is just part of the process to ensure a fair outcome. I would strongly encourage any other company considering SimPro to give it a shot. They have proven to be committed and dedicated to their customers. Despite the initial hiccups, I am optimistic about the potential of this software and the team behind it.

Yes, there can be syncing delays with the BI Reporting, but when it works, it's a powerful tool. The software may not be directly compatible with every sales, marketing or customer service tool, but the integration through Zapier is a feature that allows for a wide range of connections. It's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite versatile. The system itself is comprehensive, with a search function that encourages precise queries and a scheduling system that, while intricate, offers a lot of flexibility. The layout and integration of forms, emails, and texts may not be to everyone's taste, but it's a system that rewards patience and exploration. The support team deserves a special mention. They've been there every step of the way, tirelessly addressing any issues that arise. It's clear they're dedicated to making SimPro the best it can be. If I were to rate SimPro, I'd give it a solid 4 stars, with an extra half star for the support staff who are clearly committed to their work.

      My experience with Simpro has been positive. I've been actively using it for about 6 months, even though I've owned it for over a year. I'm still figuring out certain aspects of its setup and I wish the initial process was simpler. I value its bid creation feature, which allows me to pull a part from our catalog and assign a time to it without having to do the calculations myself. Some of my team members have found it challenging to use, but once they get the hang of it, it works well. It's just a bit different from what they're used to. I switched to Simpro for its job costing and inventory management features. I appreciate the vendor's responsiveness and their offer of support through the Simpro Helpdesk.
