They didn't appear interested in keeping me as a customer, so I left. I did appreciate the system's reliability - it always worked and we never had any complaints from customers about invoices or payments. However, it took them a long time to implement direct debit. The vendor responded to my departure with disappointment and acknowledged their shortcomings. They noted that Recurly serves over 2200 businesses with their subscription management platform and are always open to improvement. They invited me to contact their support email if I need help in the future and wished me well.

Despite the initial impression of it being a bit pricey, they offered us a no-risk option to try it out and only pay for transactions as they occur. This was a refreshing approach that we appreciated. The onboarding process was intricate and detailed, which showed us the depth of the software's capabilities. We didn't get around to fully utilizing the service, but we were impressed by the comprehensive nature of the platform. Nine months later, we received a notice from a collection agency. It turned out there had been some confusion about our account, and we were being charged a monthly amount. Recurly's account managers were as surprised as we were and admitted they were unsure why we were being charged for an account that was never used or onboarded. They even involved a law firm to help resolve the issue. The firm was assertive and proactive, which showed us that Recurly was serious about resolving the matter. We are confident that we don't owe anything, and we are working closely with Recurly and their law firm to clear up the misunderstanding. This experience has been a learning curve for us, and despite the inconvenience, it has shown us the lengths Recurly will go to in order to resolve issues. It's clear that they are committed to their business practices and ensuring customer satisfaction. I would advise anyone looking for a robust and comprehensive billing platform to consider Recurly. They are dedicated to their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything is in order.
