I've had the opportunity to interact with their customer service over 1 times, which has been quite an experience. They've consistently advised me to liaise with my bank, which has been a great way to strengthen my communication skills. When I reach out to my bank, they redirect me back to Razor Pay, creating a dynamic loop of interaction. It's like an exciting game of pass the parcel. This has been one of the most unique service experiences I've ever had.

As a user, I find Razorpay to be the perfect solution for businesses looking to offer their customers a wide range of payment options, such as credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and various mobile wallets. In my view, it's the top payment gateway, accepting credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking from over 50 banks, and a variety of mobile wallets. I appreciate its user-friendly interface, complete with features like automated receipts and personalized payment pages. I can incorporate a broad array of Razorpay integrations, including those for OpenCart, WordPress, and Shopify. It charges a fixed processing fee, which is typically slightly lower than Instamojo. I also appreciate the 24/7 live customer support provided by Razorpay. However, I find its security lacking as SSL support is not consistently used. I also miss customer-centric features like gift cards, and I'm disappointed that Razorpay doesn't offer a standard or free version.

Seamless Integration and User-Friendly Experience with Razorpay
I've been using Razorpay for the past 8 months and my experience has been excellent. I find the modern UI attractive and the API documentation is thorough with a quick response time. Their approval process is swift and they offer better payout cycles. However, I wish there was a feature that allowed customers to deduct 10% TDS before payment on the automated invoices we generate. There is a workaround through enabling partial payment, but it's not foolproof as there's no control over the amount the customer will pay. I chose Razorpay for its quick start and setup, detailed API documentation, ease of use, and great UI. I switched from CCAvenue due to their lengthy and exhausting approval process and poor customer service. They deducted money during my first year of free membership, which led to mistrust, even though they returned the money after a few follow-ups.

Unprecedentedly Poor Customer Service from Razorpay
After using Razorpay for a year, they suddenly blocked my service, claiming that partner banks had rejected my company. On the same day, they sent me an email saying everything was approved. For a week, I was getting daily contradictory emails, some saying approved, others saying blocked. I even got a call saying it was approved, only to receive an email later saying it was blocked. After two weeks, they finally decided it was blocked and said they would only settle my money after 120 days. If there was a reason for rejection, they should have done it at the start, not after a year of usage and after collecting more than a lakh. They deserve to be sued. They had international payments. Their customer service is, to put it mildly, pathetic. They play around with the company's money and fail to communicate for weeks.

I appreciate the credits I receive from Razorpay, which I can use for commission-free payments. I find all the features I need in the Razorpay payment gateway portal, which is straightforward and easy to use. It only takes me 10-15 minutes to understand how to raise invoices and create payment pages. However, some international cards are not accepted and there are occasional issues with low limits. Apart from that, everything is fine.

One of the best features I've found is the ability to design payment pages where we can list our services and collect payment. I had a fantastic experience with Razorpay and am completely satisfied with their service. I would recommend Razorpay as the top payment solution for small and midsize businesses. They accept payments through all online methods, including foreign currency, and provide comprehensive reports and email notifications to clients. They also send payment reminders for timely collection in case of credit sales. However, their pricing for UPI and Rupay Cards is higher compared to other payment gateways like Paytm, Paykun, and CC Avenue. I chose Razorpay because Cashfree doesn't support credit cards, Paytm requires a GST number to use their business solution which isn't necessary in the service industry, and CCavenue charges an annual maintenance fee which isn't the case with Razorpay. I switched to Razorpay because Paykun had many transaction failures compared to Paytm and Razorpay, and often my clients couldn't pay via credit card over the Paykun payment gateway.
