      I've been using ProClass for about 8 years and I find it very useful for database management, membership, and course registration. I like its ease of use in setting up courses and managing both database and membership. However, I've noticed that the website can be slow when opening new pages, especially courses. The vendor acknowledged that the course page has a lot of data and that load times can be improved. They've told me that new performance enhancements are coming soon to specifically improve the course page load times and other high data volume pages. I'm excited for these improvements.

      Started Strong, Ended Sour: My ProClass Experience

      I initially had a decent experience with ProClass, but it ended on a hostile note. I was relieved to find a suitable replacement in 6crickets. ProClass has a robust database that allows for a lot of data manipulation, report pulling, and contact downloading. The ability to email my entire database was invaluable and almost kept me with them. However, their customer support was mediocre and the training was time-consuming. The rosters were essentially useless and the cost was unpredictable, with the owner deciding on annual rate increases. ProClass was my first class management program, recommended by another school district. It was good for a while, but I believe there are better options available now. In response to my review, the vendor thanked me for my positive comments about their database and reporting features. They were pleased that their email and marketing features were invaluable to me. They expressed confusion about my comments on support, stating that these issues were not raised during my time with them and that my attempts to schedule.

Even though we can still make modifications, we don't have to fill in all the details. Initially, there was a steep learning curve due to the many details and unused fields. The reports also have unused fields which can be perplexing. However, the vendor explained that ProClass has numerous features and not every customer will use all of them. They also introduced new features that can help customize specific pages to eliminate unused features. They suggested that I reach out to the support specialist for help.

The attendance function has saved us countless volunteer hours. I can pull from the database to answer many user/management questions. The back end was initially intimidating to learn, but the new version promises an easier user interface.       I've had a positive experience with ProClass's customer support. They've been consistently helpful, teaching me how to handle issues independently in the future. However, I think the site could use a walkthrough or tips/info button for guidance. Our customers can access their accounts from home and there's a handy chat option for support. The buttons and tabs are easy to find. On the downside, there are too many layers in the customer accounts and too many places to input information that aren't reflected in the account. The reports could be more useful and sometimes aren't available. There's also a problem with account duplication, with no option to merge them. This can cause confusion when we create an account for our students and they also create one. In response to my feedback, the vendor thanked me for sharing my experience and for my suggestions on improving the user interface. They've used this feedback to create a new user interface and additional reports. They thanked me.

      I appreciate the numerous functions of the ProClass software, from managing tuition online to printing rosters and availability. It covers every aspect of my career, eliminating the need for multiple softwares to run my business. However, I find the user interface and user experience less satisfactory. It requires a lot of clicking for simple tasks and there are unresolved bugs that hinder seamless use, such as not being able to return to the main account after sending an email and tuition being off by one cent. The vendor responded to my comments, stating that the bug with the one cent discrepancy in split tuition charges was fixed several versions ago and advised me to contact support if I still encounter this issue. They also acknowledged my feedback on the UI/UX and assured me that they are working to reduce additional clicks and improve user-friendliness. They suggested using the return icon in the top menu after sending an email to return directly to the account or previous screen in a single click. They also offered assistance and updates to improve my experience.

The ability to access and download course and student information for further analysis is very helpful, as is the feedback from Support about potential registration problems. From an administrative perspective, the system can be quirky and difficult to use. I've had to become the organization's expert to assist others. In an older version, we found that people were occasionally charged for a course that was already full.
