Keeper Security and 1Password are both popular password management solutions designed to help individuals and businesses securely store and manage their passwords. While they share the same core purpose, there are several key differences between Keeper Security and 1Password that you should consider when choosing the right solution for your needs.

The first major difference lies in their security features. Keeper Security is known for its focus on enterprise-grade security, offering advanced features like zero-knowledge encryption, dark web monitoring, and secure file storage. It also provides an extra layer of protection with features like biometric login and two-factor authentication (2FA). This makes Keeper an excellent choice for businesses that require stringent security controls and need to manage large volumes of sensitive data. On the other hand, 1Password also provides strong security features but emphasizes ease of use and accessibility. It includes unique options like...

      Highly Recommended Password Manager

I had a great experience with the Keeper Password Manager. The pricing is reasonable at $3 a month. The user interface is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I was surprised by the number of features it offers, including many quality of life improvements that are easy to set up.

Superior Strategy Marred by UI Shortcomings

In my view, Keeper Password Manager adheres to best practices in securing customer data, much like its top competitors. Its user interface is satisfactory and functions well across all devices. However, it falls short in terms of configurability and a well-designed user interface. It doesn't provide detailed and comprehensible permission settings, and there's no option to set a password policy for the password generator per entry. Certain tasks in the user interface are not intuitive, require too many clicks, or are poorly executed. It's evident that thorough user interface testing was not carried out. We transitioned to Keeper Security due to company policy, even though we would have preferred to stick with 1Password, which outperforms in several areas.

Keeper Password Manager: Hassle-Free Password Creation

      Fairly User-Friendly

I find the Keeper Password Manager relatively intuitive and easy to use. I appreciate its accessibility across various platforms, sometimes without needing to enter a password, thanks to thumbprint and facial recognition features. However, I have a negative experience as I used my email address as my username and now I can't change it, even though I have another preferred email. I wish to disconnect all ties with the old email.

      Totally ADORE Keeper!

I absolutely adore Keeper! I've used other password management apps before, but found them difficult to handle. Keeper, on the other hand, is user-friendly and I've never received any emails about it being compromised, unlike with other apps. Without a doubt, Keeper is the best app out there!

      Excellent Value, Superior Product

I use Keeper Password Manager to manage and secure numerous credentials for our IT infrastructure. It's been very helpful, especially in sharing these credentials easily. However, it only works with web applications and I wish it could also work with desktop applications. I chose Keeper Security because it offers the best cost/benefit solution for password management.

Effortless Setup and User Success with Minimal Training Needed

I've had a great experience with Keeper Password Manager, from its leadership to its staff. The main question I receive is "Will you share the password?" The top director uses it daily and it provides high security for staff onboarding and offboarding. The learning curve is minimal and we value all its features. We use Keeper Security for business and Dashlane for personal use.

      Keeper: A Noteworthy Standout

I find the Keeper Password Manager user-friendly and well-structured. I haven't faced any problems yet, although enhancing the app version could be advantageous, it's not a big issue. I switched to Keeper Security from 1Password due to constant issues and growing annoyance.

      Top Pick!

I find Keeper Password Manager user-friendly, boasting the best features in the market and excellent security. I have no complaints so far, but I'm uncertain if they offer a free account. I opted for Keeper Security as it outperforms in all aspects. I switched to Keeper Security following a breach and data loss at LastPass.

Keeper Password Manager: The Ultimate Solution for Password Management

I must say, Keeper Password Manager is hands down the best password manager I've ever had the pleasure of using! I'm absolutely thrilled with its autofill and autosubmit features. It's like I don't even have to give a second thought to passwords anymore!

Chrome Password and Autofill Outperformed by Keeper

My team and I found Keeper Password Manager to be less beneficial than expected. Despite its secure appearance and easy login, it seldom auto-filled forms and sometimes didn't provide password login. We did, however, appreciate the feature to name passwords for easier identification. We initially chose Keeper Security for its 2FA option, but we're now transitioning to Microsoft's password management for single login.

Securing Credentials with Keeper Password Manager

I value Keeper Security for its user-friendliness, security, and auto-fill feature for usernames and passwords. I'm impressed by its password generation capability, which I believe is more secure than other programs I've used. I also appreciate its visually pleasing user interface and its Google Chrome extension for password generation. However, it doesn't have face recognition for my iPhone and occasionally, the Chrome Extension doesn't work properly. I switched to Keeper Security due to unresolved security issues with 1Password and because Keeper Security is easier to use.

Exploring the Unique User Experience of Keeper Password Manager

I've found the user experience of Keeper Password Manager to be quite unique. I chose to disable all browser plugins for a more streamlined experience, and I must say, it's been quite a ride. The mobile app is refreshingly different, making some interesting user assumptions and adding a bit of suspense with its network calls. It's like a throwback to the good old days with some bugs that have been around for years, giving the desktop app a quirky charm with its random pop-ups. If it wasn't for my company's policy, I might have tried 1Password, but I'm glad I stuck with Keeper. It's been a journey of discovery and I'm enjoying every bit of it!

Keeper Security: My Lifesaver During a Break-In

I have been using the Keeper Security app on my iPhone 6 and MacBook Pro for almost four years. Before discovering this app, I struggled to keep track of all my login IDs and passwords. I knew I needed a range of complex passwords for all the electronic platforms I was using. The Keeper Security app proved to be very user-friendly and I quickly outgrew the free version, leading me to purchase the full application. It has surpassed my expectations! It's easy to use, back up, and sync with my laptop. I highly recommend it not only for individuals but also for small businesses. In 2015, my home was burglarized and my spouse and I lost everything. We were living outside the USA at the time, which complicated things. Luckily, I still had one computer and was able to access my Keeper Security backup. Thanks to Keeper, I was able to provide all my account numbers, license, and passport details to the police.

Experiencing Superior Security with Keeper Password Manager

I'm really enjoying using Keeper Password Manager on my mobile phone! It's so secure that it automatically logs out after 3 minutes, ensuring my passwords are always safe. I love the fact that it requires me to re-enter my master password each time, it's a great reassurance that my information is well-protected. The syncing feature is also quite interesting, it gives me a chance to double-check my updates whenever I change a password. I'm considering sticking with Keeper Password Manager over Chrome's auto-fill feature. The latter may be easier and more intuitive, but I find Keeper's security measures more appealing. I've never experienced the same level of security with Chrome as I have with Keeper. I'm amazed at how Keeper outperforms Chrome's auto-fill in terms of security. It's truly a top-notch password manager!
