Overall, I'm pleased with what 1Password provides, but for personal use, I lean towards the free tier of BitWarden. The sync between desktop and mobile devices is smooth, and it's simple to generate new passwords and fill in custom form fields. However, I'm not keen on the lock-in that 1Password creates by proposing to link the Family account to the work account. If I switch jobs and the new one doesn't use 1Password, I would have to transfer my personal vault, which is always a nuisance. It appears they're trying to convert lifetime license holders to a monthly subscription, which has caused the software to malfunction for me. Despite owning a license, the Chrome extension only works in "read-only mode", making it less effective than other password managers. I would have given up on it if I hadn't already paid for it. Setting up a 1Password account on desktop to sync and save passwords is inconvenient. You need to log in on the web first, but you need an account to do that. The FAQ suggests inputting a secret key, but the Mac version doesn't have one. It turns out you need a.

It has been upgraded with new features that some of our team members have begun using, like the MFA authenticator, which appears to function well. I value the personal license given to any business licensed user and the option to share it with my spouse, granting us access to shared passwords. The capability to use the mobile app, browser extensions, and Windows Desktop app, all of which are constantly synced, is outstanding. Our previous solution necessitated a file to be used and distributed to different apps or systems, making 1Password a superior product. It's secure, simple to implement, and easy to manage users and access. The business subscription comes with a license for a personal account per user, which can also be shared with family, a significant advantage. However, I'm not fond of the new appearance in 1Password for Windows 8.6.1 and prefer the look and function.

I've been using 1password for over 7 years now and it's been a fantastic journey! Recently, I had a minor hiccup with my password, but the experience turned out to be a testament to their commitment to customer service. I reached out to 1password.com and also created a new account on 1password.eu, which was a breeze and I was promptly invoiced. I was hoping they could merge my accounts to ensure the continuity of my data. While I initially had some difficulty getting through to support, I decided to reach out to the Sales Team. They were incredibly responsive and I was able to issue 5 support tickets. The team got back to me in no time and I was thrilled with their prompt response. I'm now eagerly waiting to regain access to my most important and sensitive data. In the meantime, I've also been trying to create an account for the Community, which I'm sure will be another great platform to engage with fellow users. I wholeheartedly recommend this service for an app where you store your most sensitive data. It's not just about the product, but also the people behind it who are always ready to help. Update: After creating a new account and interacting with the sales team, I'm now back on track. I've been waiting for just over 48 hours, but I'm confident that I'll soon have access to my most important data again.
