As a long-time user of Jira, I find Kanban Tool to be a refreshing change due to its simplicity and lightness. It doesn't compromise on features or functionality, but rather minimizes overhead and noise, which I appreciate. I find it very useful for managing both my personal and work projects, alongside other tools that are more suited to enterprise tasks. I appreciate the clean and fluid interface of Kanban Tool. It offers core features that are comparable to a larger tool like Jira, and in some cases, it even performs better. The product is light and maintains a single interface without too many page changes, keeping me focused. It has potential for growth, but I like that it doesn't try to mimic Jira. There isn't anything I particularly dislike about Kanban Tool, although there are some features I haven't been able to test as I'm using the free tier. I do think that some features that are missing in the free tier should be included.

However, I think the user interface could be more user-friendly. I switched to Kanban Tool from Trello because, despite Trello's effectiveness in project management, it lacks the flexibility of Kanban tools. I haven't regretted my decision since.

Simple Beginnings, Growth Through Usage
I find Kanban-Tool very user-friendly as it allows me to start easily and grow while using it. The setup is quick and the Powerups prevent my board from being overloaded. The most unique feature I've found is the ability to display the to-do list of every card on the board from the start, eliminating the need to expand it each time I want to check tasks. This is a great feature! There are many other features available, which can be found in the Powerups in Settings. I also use Kanban-Tool for personal planning, such as holidays. The support and development team are receptive to function requests and process them efficiently.

I am currently managing 2.5 programs and always have a lot on my plate, from big to small tasks. Kanban Tool assists me in keeping track of what needs to be done, what's in progress, and what's completed. It's also an excellent collaboration and reporting tool for working with others. Thanks to Kanban Tool, I can easily spot gaps and direct my energy and effort where it's most needed. I value its ease of use, intuitiveness, and the ability to view all my tasks at once. It's ingenious, simple, and effective. I have no complaints; it meets all my needs for how I use the software. I switched to Kanban Tool from Freedcamp because, even though Freedcamp offers many of the same benefits, it didn't resonate with me in the same way.

Effortless and Efficient
The software is user-friendly and intuitive. I was able to easily set up a project board for my team and myself to manage several ongoing projects, including dependencies, and provide a quick visual for team meetings. The software doesn't feel like it adds extra work just to track work, which is a plus. Recurring tasks stay on the side, not cluttering the board. Exporting due dates to the calendar provides an additional safety check to not miss anything crucial. However, recurring tasks do not populate to Outlook, which would be a great addition. Similarly, for recurring tasks, it would be beneficial to have them occur on a specific day rather than just a date. I chose Kanban Tool because it has been more intuitive and simple to work with.
