My overall experience with Invision has been excellent. I value how seamlessly the application runs, enabling me to convey my ideas and receive valuable feedback. It has assisted our company in resolving numerous issues identified during the testing phase. I appreciate its flexibility, allowing me to tailor it to my needs, and the inspection tool works wonderfully. I also value the ability to organize screens within the prototypes I create into groups. The product is easy to use and handles everything well overall. The only issue I've faced is occasional lag, especially when uploading large files. I believe these issues could be resolved with an update, but overall, the application performs well. We chose Invision because many of our clients use it, so we were more familiar with it compared to other applications. We also heard positive reviews about it, which made it an obvious choice for us.

This software has been crucial in assisting me to present and explain website design and behavior to clients, enhancing communication among everyone involved in the development and approval process. I value the platform's simplicity and the intuitive nature of the prototyping process. The tools for the mobile version are outstanding, making the website feel almost like a completed product with its animations and interactions. The integration with Craft makes it incredibly simple to keep all pages updated and organized. However, there's still room for improvement on the platform, such as introducing features that allow for fixed or sticky elements on the prototype besides the header and footer. I switched to InVision App because it provided superior prototype animation features than Marvel.

As a designer, I utilize the Invision app for prototyping my designs and presenting them to my clients. My experience with the app has been outstanding, both in terms of my personal use and my clients' ability to navigate through my proofs. The seamless integration of the Invision app into my workspace is its most impressive feature. It's superb for showcasing my design prototypes to clients. The capability to edit proofs in real time or conduct a working meeting through the app is a potent feature. I use this app for all my projects. However, I find the price slightly too high. I've managed to incorporate it into my budget, but it could be more affordable. I chose the Invision app because a vendor recommended it to me. I signed up and have never looked back.

Effortless Learning Experience
I was impressed by the learning curve of InVision and how quickly I was able to accomplish tasks. I started with prototypes and soon discovered other incredibly useful tools provided by InVision, such as Live Freehand, a tool for rapidly and collaboratively sketching out ideas and interfaces. However, I was bothered by the need to work in the browser and the syncing of designs. The speed at which I could achieve anything in InVision was astonishing. The UX/UI of the tools is simplified to what one truly needs. The more I used one tool, the more sense other tools like Freehand and Sync made. The software only runs in the browser and requires uploading your design. There is a sync plugin to assist with this, but the general building of prototypes needs to be done in InVision. Special characters and diacritics in filenames are ignored, which can disrupt the automatic sorting of your screens. Despite having access to Adobe Creative Suite and XD, I found InVision easier to use.

Exploring InVision: A Powerful UX/UI Collaboration Tool
InVision is a great UX and UI collaboration tool that I find extremely beneficial for team projects. It enables me to quickly put together high-fidelity prototypes using screens, hotspots, and triggers. I also appreciate the moodboards for gathering inspiration and presenting design versions for review and feedback. The customer service is also quite good and responsive. However, there are a few drawbacks, such as the cost and the lack of design features. I can import each screen from my prototype and quickly set up my transitions and hotspots, but I wish I could do more actual design work within the app itself. The cost can also add up, particularly if you're an individual consultant or contractor. If I ever decide to stop paying, there's a monthly fee to archive, but not access all of my projects. I can still access some projects, though. It at least ensures my work's not lost, but it's about $15/mo ($180/yr) to save it.

Convenient, Frequently Used, and Highly Recommended: InVision
Overall, I can't stress enough how great Invision is! It's handy, widely used, and even though people initially disregard our suggestions, they end up appreciating us later. It's simple, secure, and quick! I absolutely adore Invision and haven't come across any issues in any aspect. When considering alternatives, I could have gone for Figma, Uizard, or Lunacy, but Invision is simply the best!

2/5. Poor Software Choice.
I'm rating InVision 2/5. Why? Because they removed the 'pause subscription' option, forcing loyal members like me, who've been with them for years and have paid a lot of money, to make a tough decision. Either spend at least $264 on another year of InVision, which is expensive compared to Sketch Cloud's $99 fee that includes the same service for free, or lose all our prototypes and hard work forever if we can't afford the next annual payment due to the impact of COVID. This seems unfair, like they're punishing people for falling on hard times. The 'pause account plan' option was amazing and I regret not using it when I had the chance. It's disappointing that they would remove something so helpful to many people, especially during these challenging times. If they hadn't removed the 'pause subscription' option, I would've rated InVision 5/5. Now, it's a 2. They've become just like every other money-hungry company.

Prior to InVision, the design proposal process was cumbersome, involving capturing a jpg, sending it, and having the client convert it to PDF before making notes for feedback. Now, InVision allows me to directly upload and update my projects, and my clients can leave comments directly on the design. I value InVision's ability to organize all my projects on a single screen, akin to a private portfolio. It also features a useful Craft plugin in Sketch that allows me to update designs. Through InVision's "inspect" tab, frontends can access design styles and assets. I find the boards to be a great source of inspiration, useful for creating a quick portfolio or a style guide to help clients understand colors, typographies, logos, and so on.
