Outstanding Tool for Streamlined Group Communication!

Surprisingly, I discovered that there aren't many good, simple group communication tools out there. Most require users to learn a new communication system, which isn't practical for our mostly volunteer user base. However, Gaggle Mail has been a game changer. It uses the familiar email system and turns it into a communication hub that automatically sends messages to everyone in the group. It's the tool I've been looking for years! Gaggle Mail has proven to be an effective communication tool for various groups in our organization. The setup was easy and the option to use our own domain was a great feature that was simple to implement. Deployment across different groups went smoothly. The ability to customize the email footer is great for simple reminders about how the group email works. So far, we haven't had any negative experiences using Gaggle Mail. We've been using it for about three years.

Excellent, but missing a crucial feature

We appreciate Gaggle Mail, however, it's missing a crucial feature. We need the capability for members of one group to access a second group, without making the second group accessible to everyone.

      Gaggle Made Our Transition Smooth!

I find the Listserv program, Gaggle-Mail, very easy to use and administer. We particularly appreciate its user-friendly moderation component. Switching from our outdated, complex self-designed program to this has been fantastic. However, I suggest two improvements: 1) an iPhone/Android app would be beneficial for my business, and 2) it would be helpful to have the ability to delete messages as part of the moderation admin, instead of just rejecting them. Overall, I'm thankful for this great product!

Effortless Email Archiving with Gaggle Mail

I find Gaggle Mail to be a nice, simple service, though it could certainly benefit from some improvements, especially in terms of making the main search function more user-friendly. It's excellent for archiving my organization's emails. I've never encountered any problems with security breaches or lost emails, and once it's set up, I can leave it be and trust that it's doing its job. However, the search function could use some refinement. As someone who has never coded, it can be a challenging search function to navigate. For example, it uses "And/Or" search functions to determine whether multiple fields need to be connected or not, which can be a bit of a hassle to get used to. I opted for Gaggle Mail because the price was reasonable through the company and the archives are stored off-site.

Effortless Transition to Gaggle Email from Outdated Listserv Technology

From the moment I discovered our listservs were becoming outdated, I was concerned about finding a similar, cost-effective system to keep our members connected. Then I found Gaggle Mail, which was a godsend. The transition of our old listserv data was seamless and straightforward. Besides informing our members about the new listserv names, they likely wouldn't have even realized we switched to a different software platform. Using Gaggle Email has been nothing but simple. It was easy to transfer our listserv data to Gaggle Email, the cost was fair, and the software had all the features of our previous listserv. It even had the added advantage of storing correspondence so people could review past discussions. People can unsubscribe themselves, something they couldn't do with our previous listserv. I absolutely adore that the software prevents duplicate emails from being sent when a person is a member of more than one group. This has saved me a significant amount of time. I have no complaints.

      Exceptional Assistance with Gaggle-Mail

So far, I'm really satisfied with Gaggle Mail. Even though I prefer forums, Gaggle Mail seems to provide the best of both worlds when using the archive. We're working on implementing a nationwide ban on fireworks and anticipate a large list, so using CC in emails is out of the question! Once you get the hang of it, it's a fantastic system. The support is top-notch! They responded to me quickly and answered all my queries with easy-to-implement solutions. It took some time and experimentation to learn how to use it effectively. I chose Gaggle Mail because, while I prefer forums, others in the group prefer email. Listserv isn't as current as Gaggle and, in my view, not the easiest e-list to use. I thought about setting up Mailman on our server, which would have been okay, but I didn't want to put in the effort.

Excelling in its Niche: Gaggle Mail

I use Gaggle Mail for maintaining communication with various groups and managing external email lists, with the added advantage of self-service maintenance. I value its spam-free complaint email interaction and list management. There isn't much I dislike about it. Some aspects of the GUI could be more intuitive, but it's not difficult to figure out. It may only perform two functions, but it does them better than I could have anticipated. I chose Gaggle Mail for its user-friendly interface, easy list maintenance, anti-spam features, and self-service for end users. I switched from Yahoo groups due to its unreliability, susceptibility to abuse, and lack of self-service.

Gaggle is Great, Yet Could Benefit from

Experience with Other Providers for Gaggle-Mail Review

I have found Gaggle-mail to be superior to other list serve providers I have worked with. It offers better tools for us and our subscribers, including the ability to post items with attachments and a larger size limit of 5MB, compared to the 3KB limit of our previous provider. A standout feature is that our subscribers can manage their own profiles and make updates, rather than needing to go through an administrator for simple changes. I am very satisfied with the services Gaggle provides and appreciate the daily service they offer to our organization.

      Solid Gmail Substitute: Gaggle Mail

Overall, I find Gaggle Mail a great alternative to Gmail. My colleagues are slowly shifting to this software or using it as a backup email. It's a straightforward, lightweight software that I can access directly from my web browser without any installation or download. It provides everything I need for email management, and the cost of its premium account is fair. The only drawback is that it can be slow when I have multiple tabs of the software open. Apart from that, I have no complaints.

Struggling to Access My Group Email on Gaggle-Mail

I've been struggling to access my group email on Gaggle-Mail. It constantly asks for a password and even when I enter what I believe to be the correct one, it redirects me to Google. I would prefer an icon that allows me to directly access the group. I'm from American Legion Post 17.

      Unparalleled Customer Service Experience

I found Gaggle Mail easy to set up and its customer service is its best feature. Whenever I had a question or problem, I always received a prompt and accurate solution. I particularly like the "comeback" feature, which is an email confirmation upon a successful post. I manage a group of about 50 people who submit weekly picks during the NFL season, mostly friends picking NFL teams to lose for fun. I used to use Google Groups, but switched to Gaggle Mail due to its outdated features and lack of support. After comparing it with several other products, Gaggle Mail came out on top in all categories, making it an easy decision. The only downside is the 3-month limit on message retention for free accounts, but I understand that businesses need to make money. Since our group only contributes during the NFL season, we wouldn't use the services for the rest of the year. I would prefer a flat fee and would consider purchasing a subscription if I could suspend it.

Superior Email List Solution: A Modern Alternative to Google Groups

After moving from Yahoo Groups to Google Groups, I finally found Gaggle Mail. It's a modern solution for managing mail lists, unlike Google Groups which feels outdated. I thought about asking our parents to use an app, but managing an email list seemed more practical since everyone has email. Gaggle Mail is easy to set up and use, especially for non-technical people like our school's teachers and staff. It simplifies the creation of a mail list and allows easy management of multiple groups with its user-friendly interface. Setting up the domain with our Gmail server was a bit challenging, but Gaggle Mail's instructions helped us overcome this. For two years, it has served us flawlessly. I chose Gaggle Mail over MailChimp because the latter required opt-in by every recipient and was too much for our needs. I left Google Groups due to its complicated opt-in process and the requirement for users to have Google accounts.
