      AnyDesk is a quality product with a good user interface and works well for remote applications. Unlike Teamviewer, it doesn't kick you out of the free version if it suspects you're using it for work. However, a significant drawback is that it only works if the remote client has launched it. In this aspect, Chrome Remote Desktop (CRD) is better as it always works, despite having a clunkier user interface. Often, I have to log into my remote machine with CRD just to activate AnyDesk, and then log in with AnyDesk.

      When using Anydesk, I experience a significant slowdown in the chat window over time. Despite both machines having a 5mb internet connection, the app remains slow, which I find inexcusable. The chat window also behaves erratically, failing to update the scroll, so I don't see incoming messages unless I manually check. Although it's cheaper than other options, I can understand why, given these issues.
