Absolutely LOVE my new Dell XPS Desktop! It came with a sleek monitor that has been a visual treat. Just three months in, it started displaying these unique, random patterns on the screen - a bit of an unexpected surprise! I've had the pleasure of interacting with Dell's tech support over 1 times, spending several enlightening hours on the phone. It's been a great opportunity to learn more about my device as I've had to provide the same case number, tag numbers, and explain the problem each time. One of the technicians even took the initiative to make changes to my operating system registry. He suggested resetting my computer to factory settings to determine if the issue was with the monitor or the desktop. This turned out to be a learning curve for both of us, as I had to reset to factory defaults to fix the changes. Despite saving everything and resetting to factory default settings, the unique monitor display persists. But instead of simply replacing my monitor, they've offered to rebuild my new XPS desktop computer. They're so committed to their products that they won't just replace it because it's over 3 days old. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this journey with Dell unfolds. Their dedication to problem-solving and customer satisfaction is truly commendable!

I recently bought an Alienware laptop from Dell Technologies and I've been using it for gaming for the past three months. I noticed a slight dip in performance, so I reached out to their support team. I was pleasantly surprised by their quick response and willingness to run tests to diagnose the issue. They explained to me that the issue might be related to Nvidia, Steam, and the game manufacturers, specifically with the 3 and 4 series of cards. They informed me that to prevent overheating, Nvidia has coordinated with game companies to limit the FPS. I found this information quite enlightening and appreciated their in-depth knowledge on the subject. I demonstrated that Destiny 2 ran smoothly for a few minutes before the frames dropped, and they assured me that this was expected behavior for my hardware. They were honest and upfront about the fact that they couldn't exchange my laptop as I was beyond the 3-day window, which I respected. They even provided a comparison with my older laptop, explaining that it might outperform my new one due to its superior 26 card. I found this comparison very helpful and it gave me a better understanding of the different hardware capabilities. Overall, my experience with Dell Technologies was enlightening and educational. Their refusal to sugarcoat the situation and their commitment to providing accurate information was refreshing. I'm looking forward to continuing my gaming journey with them and I'm confident that I made the right choice by choosing Dell Technologies.

I wholeheartedly recommend purchasing a Dell laptop, but I suggest doing so through a third-party site or business. My experience with Dell's customer service was unique, as I ordered a laptop a month ago and it hasn't arrived yet. However, I'm confident that they're working diligently to resolve the issue. I've had to reach out to them multiple times, but I'm sure they're just swamped with requests. I even filed a police report to ensure everything is in order, and I'm patiently waiting for a resolution. Dell is a reputable company and I'm certain they'll come through. As for refunds, I haven't had to ask for one yet, but I'm prepared to follow whatever process they have in place. I'm looking forward to getting my laptop and diving into all the amazing features Dell has to offer!

They were incredibly efficient, with the delivery marked as completed on November 27th. Although there was a slight hiccup with the delivery, their customer service was prompt and attentive to my concerns. As of December 14th, they were diligently working on resolving the issue. To my surprise, one of the items was delayed and was scheduled to arrive by the end of the month. This gave me a chance to experience their customer service first hand. Although the item was further delayed until the new year, I was impressed by the company's transparency and constant communication. I reached out to them and was connected to a representative in India. Despite the distance, they were able to assist me and answer all my queries. What's more, I was able to take advantage of a fantastic promotion with Amex Platinum that offers a $2 credit with Dell every six months. Although the items were not delivered by the end of the year due to the delay, I appreciated the company's honesty about the situation. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Dell Technologies. Their commitment to keeping customers informed and their excellent customer service, even from halfway around the world, is commendable. I look forward to my next purchase with them!

However, managing existing backup sets can be somewhat laborious, particularly when altering expiry dates. Occasionally, I have to resort to the CLI or script for larger changes, but this also turns out to be very potent. I opted for Dell EMC NetWorker due to its features, pricing, and our pre-existing relationship with Dell/EMC. The close integration with storage on Data Domain was also a determining factor.

Fast Typing on this Dell
I'm having issues with the Dell keyboard. When I type quickly, it sometimes misses letters or types them in the wrong order, a problem known as keyboard ghosting. This seems to be due to the cheap quality of the keyboard and the processor detecting keystrokes late or out of sync. It's incredibly frustrating, especially when checking work, as a word with a missed letter isn't recognized as a spelling mistake. It's disappointing, considering even old laptops didn't have this issue. It feels like a cheap keyboard has been put on an expensive laptop. When I contacted Dell customer service, they simply said it is supposed to be like that, sorry about that, maybe next time buy a gaming keyboard. I believe typing is the primary purpose of a laptop and if they can't get that right, they should reconsider their approach. I feel I would be better off with a typewriter.

With the use of DD-Boots software, the backup process is faster and it integrates seamlessly with Data Domain storage backup as a repository. The software's most valuable feature is its ability to backup RICS environments like Oracle SPARC, IBM Power, and HPE Itanium. However, it lacks a user-friendly interface for backing up PCs and laptops and it doesn't support backup for Postgress and Cassandra DB with an agent. Another drawback is the high cost of the software if you use the capacity model, making it only affordable for high and mid-range companies. I chose Dell EMC NetWorker because the integration between Dell EMC's hardware and software provides excellent backup solutions and the ability to backup RISK systems, unlike other software that requires additional plugins and third-party integrations.
