Even as a non-techie, I faced no issues. The official Algolia Community forum is a great resource where I can find answers to any questions. I'm currently using the free Community plan, which suits my needs perfectly as my blog has fewer than 30 pages. The search results provided by Algolia are relevant and consider similar key terms and typos. I appreciate the instant search results, which I find more user-friendly than having to press 'Enter' or click a button. The search user interface is also visually appealing. However, I've noticed that some search terms don't show up in the results, so I may need to configure the plugin to optimize site search. I switched to Algolia when I moved my personal blog from WordPress to Jekyll.

I have successfully integrated Algolia's search system into my Angular/Fire project and am now considering implementing its geo-search feature. I hope it will be as effective as the search with Firestore. The best part is its easy integration into both the back and front end of a project, and the simplicity of constructing queries. However, I wish it had a pay-per-use option like Firebase, instead of just a free account or a payment commitment. Regardless of whether I use all my operations or not, I still have to pay. The vendor responded to my review, expressing their happiness that I got my project up and running. They also offered their support email for any questions I might have about geo-search or anything else. They replied in May 2021.
