I appreciate the Zoho Creator platform and with the help of Zoho developers, it can be made quite impressive. However, I am not satisfied with their sales department. I have had a Creator account for 5 years and decided to upgrade to a professional account, which is supposed to offer unlimited Apps. But, they've limited me to only 5 Apps and continue to charge me the full professional fee every month. When I asked about this, they said it was because I was using the old platform and that someone would contact me. It's been over a month and I've heard nothing, yet they made sure to take their payment last week. The platform is flexible and good for those with experience in writing scripts and understanding logic. However, their sales support is poor, even though their technical support is good. The platform is not beginner-friendly; you need to know how to write specific code strings. I chose Zoho Creator because it was cheaper upfront.

Building an app is a time-consuming and effortful process, and it's essential to begin with the right platform for long-term development. I found Zoho Creator to be a decent DIY database with unique features. However, their customer service was disappointing. I faced several major issues that severely impacted our organization and received no support from their customer service. Each time, the problem was with their servers or software. I could grapple with a problem for weeks without any assistance from their customer service. When your main application is down, Zoho Creator is not the platform you want to be using. After dealing with these problems and receiving no help from Zoho, I realized that my expanding company needed to move away from Zoho Creator. I came across an open-source CRM called Zurmo. I highly recommend considering Zurmo as an alternative. Being open-source, you can install it, modify the source code, and it's free! They also offer a paid version.

Great App BUT Terrible Customer Service
The app is good, but the customer support is terrible. Whenever I try to chat with support, I often get a message saying they missed me and will get back to me shortly. However, shortly usually means days. Once I report an error, they disappear until I send reminders. Some of my friends have subscribed to Quickbooks, which might be more customer-friendly. Zoho, you will lose customers if you don't provide any support!

The free version of Zoho-Creator offers basic analytics, which, while not providing deep insights, is better than nothing. I believe the free version should include more features, especially the calendar view, which I find extremely useful. I appreciate the ability to write posts ahead of time and schedule them, but I strongly feel this feature should also be included in the free version.

As a non-profit, we were looking for an affordable CRM that could store specific information about our service users. After many unsuccessful attempts, we were left frustrated and financially strained. Then we discovered Zoho Creator. This software allowed us to design our own customized CRM using forms and subforums. The subscription is affordable and offers us the flexibility to make any changes to the layout and to upgrade or add more users whenever we want. Initially, we had difficulties with the layouts and moving around fields, but after going through the tutorials, we managed to understand it. We switched to Zoho Creator after being introduced to it through Zoho CRM, which didn't meet our needs.

I primarily use Zoho Creator for prototyping and proof of concept for larger projects that eventually get developed on other platforms. I find it to be of great value for what it offers. If I'm using other elements of the Zoho suite, the integrations are good and Creator can be great for adding functionality for first-line workers in my organization. Zoho Creator is a quick way for me to create applications without writing code. I can create forms, reports, pages, and workflows largely through a drag-and-drop interface. There's a custom scripting language available for more complex requirements, but I mostly stick to the no-code features. I find it to be a good solution for collecting data on web forms and presenting it in meaningful reports. The apps I've completed can be embedded on websites or made available to users within or outside my organization. The apps created are responsive and designed to display well on desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Typical use cases are collecting data for surveys, tests.

Simply Outstanding: Zoho-Creator
I think Zoho Creator is brilliant. I've been using the Zoho ONE Ecosystem for over three years now. Despite having limited programming experience and little software development knowledge beyond some experiments in Javascript and Visual Basic, I've managed to build several business apps on Zoho Creator. These apps are integrated with Zoho Workdrive and I've also used Flow, Zoho Mail, and Zoho Zeptomail. As a fast-paced company, there are times when things don't work or changes occur, but Zoho is always there to assist and provide support. I highly recommend Zoho to any company interested in working with Low Code systems. Currently, I manage three small companies with a total of around 2 users. My account manager checks in every couple of months and is always available via email to help sort things out.
