I find Spendesk to be a highly useful service for all payment-related needs within a business. It eliminates the need to manage credit cards for purchases or online subscriptions, as the approval process is fully digitalized. The physical card, which provides immediate reminders for receipt scanning, is also beneficial. Bills are automatically attached to every payment, whether online or offline, preventing the accounting department from wasting time collecting and managing them. Overall, Spendesk has saved us a lot of time.

Spendesk enables us to automate payments and approvals for business expenses and offers a clear overview of transaction ownership, fostering accountability. The accounting integration in Germany was easy and straightforward, and the approval flows are excellent. It's also possible to set up multiple teams and entities, mirroring complex organizational structures. However, due to Spendesk's internal changes in preparation for Brexit, the onboarding process took 3-4 weeks, which was not well communicated beforehand. Also, each credit card's limit must be backed by pre-loaded money onto the bank account, and each card's limit needs to be 100% backed, effectively tying up an entire month of "worst case scenario" working capital. The currency conversion charges are also a concern.

I've been utilizing Spendesk for four years and find it extremely beneficial as an employee. It's a great tool for companies where trust is crucial, being both user-friendly and potent. It enables everyone to be independent when traveling or needing to buy anything for their work. However, being colorblind, I find the soft colors of the UI somewhat hard to comprehend. Bigger icons could be a good enhancement. The vendor responded to my review in December 2018, expressing their appreciation.

I think Spendesk is a great tool, although it has some minor bugs that need fixing. I've noticed that the app tends to slow down around 4: - 5: pm, sometimes payments don't go through, or virtual cards take a long time to load. Apart from these issues, I find it to be a good tool.

I had an interesting experience with Spendesk when one of our employee's cards was compromised. I was impressed to find out that Spendesk had already identified the charges as suspicious. Although we weren't immediately notified about the compromised card or questioned about the charges, it was a learning experience for us. It made us realize the importance of being proactive in such situations. In comparison to our previous credit card company, Spendesk operates differently. Our previous company would flag suspicious charges and promptly notify us to close the card and issue a new one. However, with Spendesk, we learned to take the initiative to block the card and request a new one ourselves. I use Spendesk for making payments while traveling across the US. It's a great tool for tracking company expenses and managing and uploading receipts on the go. However, I've found that the Spendesk card isn't widely accepted, for example at Trader Joe's. The app currently only allows for taking photos of receipts. It would be a significant improvement if it could automatically recognize and adjust the borders of the receipt, converting it into a PDF. I received a response from the vendor in June 2019, thanking me for my review and informing me that their new mobile app, which includes a feature to automatically crop receipt photos, will be launching soon. They also apologized for the issues I faced overseas and assured me that my comments have been passed on to their product team for further investigation.
