      Quirky yet Ideal for Small Businesses

      Once I became familiar with the terminology, I found Referral-Rock to be quite user-friendly and it seemed to have all the features I needed without being too costly. However, I encountered several glitches when working with text, such as selecting fonts and sizes, adjusting spacing, etc. I often had to find alternative solutions when setting up the member and referral pages, and I was never able to achieve the exact look I wanted. If I indented anything, it would automatically insert quotations somewhat below the text. Despite these issues, everything else seemed to work fine. However, given the importance of text setup to the overall message, I believe more focus should be placed on improving this functionality. Selecting text size was particularly frustrating as there was no way to know exactly what size I was choosing. The vendor responded to my feedback, stating they plan to overhaul the program editors in the next month or so.

We're still in the early stages of our launch, and the only potential downside might be the platform's flexibility. Due to its adaptability, many functions may need to be custom-built for specific organizations. While this is a major advantage for us, it might not be the best choice for everyone.

However, creating the landing page and emails using their templates was a bit challenging, but [sensitive content hidden] from customer support was very responsive and assisted with everything. I do wish the direct add feature had more automated emails. I switched to Referral Rock from a previous service due to poor communication. With the previous service, we had four onboarding calls where we had to repeatedly explain our needs and processes. In contrast, Referral Rock excelled in communication. They liaised with the sales rep and were ready to assist us from the first onboarding call.

I particularly loved how easy it was for customers to sign up with just a single click and use their dashboard link to check their stats. Our goal was to make the process as seamless as possible for the referring member and Referral Rock certainly accomplished that. We did have to host the landing page within Referral Rock for tracking purposes, which wasn't ideal, but it was the only way to make it work with our system. We chose Referral Rock because they were the first company to ask about our funnel flow in the initial discovery meeting. I also thought about creating our own system using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, but due to the short timeframes and the cost involved, Referral Rock was the best option. The vendor responded positively to my feedback, expressing gratitude for my kind words and satisfaction that they could raise the bar on customer service outside of Australia.

      I find Referral Rock frustrating. It's almost what I need, but it's hard to justify paying for onboarding that doesn't deliver on most of what I was promised. It somewhat integrates with our CRM, HubSpot, but nothing works as it should. I've been waiting for over a month for a response from the support team about an issue that I was assured the software could handle, but it doesn't. I chose Referral Rock for its HubSpot integration. The vendor responded to my complaints, apologizing for the negative onboarding experience and blaming the issue on a limitation with HubSpot's API, not their integration. They claimed to be working on resolving the issue and had scheduled a call with additional integration specialists. They thanked me for my review and expressed hope to continue working with me.
