Whenever I faced an issue, the team was able to solve it instantly. I switched to Instatus from StatusPage because it was too costly, and Instatus provides the same or even better features at a more affordable price. I really value everything that Instatus provides. They offer the same services as a typical status page, but at a more cost-effective rate. As I operate a nonprofit, we utilize our status page to keep our users updated on any technical issues. With Instatus, we can generate incidents, associate them with third-party monitoring services, and subscription services. It even comes with Discord notifications, which are quite trendy nowadays. The provided documentation is superb and easy to comprehend. I was able to set everything up in less than 20 minutes, and linking a custom domain was even simpler! I did propose a feature to the founder on the Instatus Slack for incidents to be automatically generated using a custom template when a third-party monitoring system identifies an outage. Other than that, everything appears and functions wonderfully! I selected Instatus primarily due to its pricing and the approachability of the founder. The vendor responded to my review in July 2021, expressing their appreciation.

I really enjoyed the speed of Instatus, particularly compared to StatusPage. I needed something fast and appreciated the ability to add HTML and CSS on the free plan. However, I believe they should include an automatic status change feature during maintenance. Everything else works well. It would also be beneficial if they could offer a shorter domain for the free status page. I primarily switched to Instatus for its speed. The vendor responded to my review, promising to enhance the maintenance feature soon.

Instatus was incredibly easy for me to set up and integrate with our other support tools. It took me less than an hour to set everything up, customize it, and integrate it into our Intercom messenger. I was really impressed with the customizability of everything and I'm confident that we'll be able to configure whatever we need as we grow. The free plan is perfect for our current needs, and when we need to upgrade, the price is much more reasonable than competitors. I knew Instatus was the obvious choice after just 20 minutes of researching status page products. My only minor issue is that email notifications can't be configured to appear as if they're coming from our domain unless we use one of the email providers they integrate with, which we don't. It would be nice if we could just configure our DNS records to authorize them to send emails using our domain like Intercom does. But this is not a big deal at all. The vendor responded to my review, thanking me.
