The software's compatibility with iPad made training a breeze. The accounting reports it provides are more than satisfactory. The support staff is very engaging and always ready to assist my team with any queries. However, I would appreciate more dynamic reports, such as a daily report that can be run in Excel showing rooms sold, revenue, and occupancy. I chose HotelKey because I use it at another property, Motel 6. I switched to HotelKey due to a brand change.

      I find HotelKey PMS to be excellent for managing multiple booking channels in one place and it's been very easy to train our staff on its usage. Out of all the PMS alternatives I've used, HotelKey PMS has the best user interface. Its user-friendly and explanatory interface has allowed us to spend less time training our staff, who now use the program flawlessly. Overall, HotelKey is a great platform and I have no complaints about it. We chose HotelKey because it offered the best user experience and our staff found it much easier to adopt than other alternatives. We switched to HotelKey because it was much easier to use and our staff adapted to it much quicker than Maestro.

If they can't assist, they escalate the problem which can take a few days to get a response. I find the software quite user-friendly, especially if you're familiar with tasks like making and locating reservations. It saves everything instantly, so any errors are immediately noticeable. However, they don't provide explanations for updates. The software also has its limitations, for instance, it doesn't permit modifications for group bookings like date or rate changes. Once a guest has checked out, I can't remove or add taxes or include additional information to the reservation, such as an email address.

      The primary business issue I'm addressing with Hotelkey is maintaining consistency in avoiding invalid credit cards. Hotelkey has a system that pre-checks the card for me and marks it as invalid if necessary. I don't even have to revisit the extranet to see if the card was updated or needs to be canceled, Hotelkey takes care of that. I appreciate the product's ease of use, it's smooth and efficient. I also like that it's cloud-based, so I don't have to worry about hardware crashes or data loss. The manager's app on my smartphone is great because I can access all the information I need. Closing rooms and updating rates are just a few taps away on my phone. My favorite feature is the 24/7 support hotline. Initially, I was skeptical because we had trouble setting up the basics for the app. We had a preferred way of processing our check-ins and check-outs from our old PMS that we wanted to continue using. However, they made some changes.
