I've been a long-time user and fan of Google Cloud Platform. I appreciate its ease of use, largely due to the excellent tutorials and support team. While it initially lagged behind AWS, Google has improved its user-friendliness through tutorial videos. The platform is powerful and flexible, and now more accessible for non-engineers, leading me to use it more often. Despite a slow start and sometimes overwhelming options, I chose Google Cloud for the free credits offered by Google, and because we exhausted our AWS credits.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) enables my website to scale rapidly, offering a cost-effective and fully customizable hosting platform. Despite its complexity, GCP allows me, as a power user, to run highly powerful websites at a relatively low cost, with unlimited potential for future growth. I currently use the Compute Manager, VPC Network, and Network Services to operate a cloud-based Wordpress site. Once I grasped the system, GCP became a potent tool for web management, offering unlimited potential for upgrades and sizes, localized solutions, and access to the full Google Cloud network. It also provides a cost-effective solution for robust web hosting. With GCP, I only spend $7 a month, and my site runs significantly faster than it did on other hosting services. GCP also gives me complete control over the backend Linux server, which was initially a learning curve, but now enables me to manage every aspect of my website with ease. However, GCP has a steep learning curve and requires a deep understanding of Linux.

My overall experience with migrating to Google Cloud was initially quite poor, but the newer versions have improved the process. I found the GCP monitoring tool to be not very user-friendly, particularly for those with limited knowledge about cloud technology. For example, checking the GCP Bucket growth isn't straightforward and requires a query to get the information. However, as an admin, I appreciate the user-friendliness and the customizable specs compared to other cloud providers. I particularly like the new N2d CPU type, which offers better performance at a lower price, and the ease of deploying virtual machines. My main issue was with the M4ce migration engine version 4, which was very complex to set up. Thankfully, M4ce version 5, which supports migration from VMware, was much simpler to set up and I was able to migrate workloads easily. I chose Google Cloud over AWS mainly because it's cheaper and offers almost all the features I need, including some exceptional ones.

I've managed to integrate various softwares that have contributed to the growth of my business. I employed Google Cloud to launch my backend software for my business website, which resulted in the most profitable returns I've ever experienced. They offer a broad spectrum of cloud computing services and even provide approximately $300 credit for system development. However, it demands considerable time and effort to attain substantial business profit. It's challenging and necessitates adaptation to the cloud environment. Despite this, I have no complaints and favor Google Cloud for cloud computing. I opted for Google Cloud for its unique cloud computing features. I transitioned to Google Cloud as Blue Host was becoming too costly.

I find that I can complete all data processing tasks by accessing the Google Cloud platform from a web browser. I appreciate its seamless integration with Google Earth Engine, allowing me to perform various data processing tasks even without a high-specification machine. I can directly run analysis algorithms, such as machine learning, by linking with various Earth Engine data. Using GKE, I no longer need to operate my Kubernetes cluster, allowing me to focus on application development. This has helped me concentrate on developing services that deliver more value, improving the speed and quality of application releases. I find the Kubernetes cloud service very user-friendly, especially since it's provided by Google, the developer of Kubernetes. The range of AI services is comprehensive and, when combined with Google AI, allows me to offer seamless AI services, enhancing the value of my services. However, the web browser interface is constantly changing, which can be a bit confusing, but it doesn't affect the data.

I've uploaded a ton of files to Google Cloud and it was a breeze! The drag and drop feature made it so simple. Now, I'm on a new adventure trying to figure out how to download them again. It's a bit of a challenge, but I'm excited to learn more about how cloudshell works. I've been following their guide and it's been an interesting journey. I did encounter a no more space message, but I see it as an opportunity to better manage my storage. Powerful Tool for Storing and Analyzing Clickstream Data
My overall experience with Google Cloud Platform has been satisfactory. I've been able to work with IT to import data from various marketing campaigns and store it for my team's analysts to use. The scalability and stability of the databases in GCP allow me to continuously add more marketing data without worrying about slowing down or crashing the databases. This means that all analytics drawn from this imported data can populate a dashboard and keep it updated with fresh insights, driving higher ROI. I use Google Cloud Platform to collect Google Analytics clickstream data and combine it with structured data from other sources. I analyze this correlated dataset using SQL queries. Some of the benefits I've found from using GCP include being able to access data online using my Google email address, exporting data extracts using Google Sheets and storing it in Google Drive, and importing additional data by setting up a daily feed from Google Analytics. This gives me the benefits of a relational database with the ability to scale using Google servers. I think Google Cloud Platform is excellent.
