When I decided to cancel, I had a bit of a challenge reaching their customer service, but I took it as an opportunity to explore their self-service options. Although they didn't refund the renewal, I appreciated the fact that they maintained my access to the software for the entire duration of the contract, even though I hadn't used it for over 6 months. This showed me their commitment to honoring their agreements. Formstack provides all the basic features I need for question forms, with many pre-set fields that are easy to drag and drop. I like its logical and easy-to-understand setup. Its affordability makes it unbeatable for simple registration systems. However, it lacks custom reporting. To export data, I have to export everything and then clean up the excel sheet. I wish it had more advanced features to make it more versatile as a registration software.

I primarily use Formstack for our Boomer’s Kids Club, where it serves as the main platform for parents to sign up their kids and for us to collect payments and information. We also use it to sell group tickets, allowing individuals to purchase group rate tickets directly, with all information and payment going straight to the account representative. This eliminates the need for one person to collect all payments and distribute tickets. When fans make a purchase, they can choose between mail or will-call. All purchases are fulfilled and fans are seated as their orders come in. However, we have encountered an issue where Formstack entries sometimes get submitted twice, leading to customers being charged twice and us having to refund them. The vendor has responded to this issue and asked us to submit a ticket with their Support Team for further investigation.

My experience with Formstack Forms was truly enlightening! As a medical office in Canada, we were initially concerned about the HIPAA requirements. Formstack Forms was proactive in addressing this, emphasizing the importance of a BAA for our protection. They even offered us a specialized contract to ensure we were fully compliant. Their pricing might seem a bit higher than others, but considering the level of security and compliance they provide, it's a worthy investment. They also promised us support to set up the form properly, which was a great relief. Just before we went live, we faced a minor hiccup as their service experienced a downtime. But hey, technology can be unpredictable at times, right? It was a bit chaotic in our clinic due to missing forms, but it was a learning curve for us to have backup plans in place. When we reached out for support, it seemed like the entire company was busy, but we understood that they must be dealing with the downtime issue. We later clarified with our legal counsel about the BAA requirements in Canada, and it turned out to be a misunderstanding on our part. When we decided to cancel the service, we faced some challenges, but it was due to the contract we had signed. They had to send our account to collections for the 1-year contract amounting to $16k, which was a part of the agreement we had initially accepted. Overall, I would recommend Formstack Forms to businesses, especially those in the healthcare sector. They are extremely professional and prioritize compliance and security. Just make sure to understand the terms and conditions before signing up. It was a learning experience for us, and we appreciate the lessons learned!

I'm sorry to report that my team and I had a dreadful experience with Formstack Forms software and its support team. The only positive aspect was its entirely web-based nature. We constantly ran into an Error: -1 (Submission could not be updated) when attempting to edit a form, resulting in the loss of all our notes. Despite contacting their support team, we received no useful help. They blamed the issue on our browser, even though we had tested and replicated the problem on all possible browsers. They then suggested it was our internet connection, but our speed tests showed higher performance than our contract specified. They even suggested we were using a VPN, which we weren't. Despite all our efforts, the support team kept repeating the same unhelpful suggestions. After weeks of this frustrating experience, we decided to sever ties with them.
