My experience with Workspace-One has been positive. It ensures the security of all our devices and provides reports on non-compliant ones. I can conveniently disable or wipe missing phones, meeting all our needs. It's easy to administer and configure, with ample setup documentation. It allows us to manage and secure our mobile devices effortlessly, and push out updates, software, and wireless access. The enrollment process has significantly improved, enabling easy user self-service. I found it relatively simple to configure to connect to our AD system and other functionalities, although it might be slightly challenging for a beginner.

Where Would We Be Without Workspace-One Today?
I had a positive experience with workspace-one, even under challenging circumstances. The support team was quick to respond and the technicians were well-informed. Luckily, we were already partnered with VMWare when Covid lockdowns started, which allowed us to shift over 3000 employees to remote work in less than 45 days. The cost is steep, but the quality matches the price. VMWare offers efficiency and user-friendliness, though it seems like there could be a more cost-effective alternative out there.

As an IT professional, I found enforcing security controls and policies with Workspace One a bit challenging, especially when integrating it with our SIEM, which led us to choose a different solution. However, the software did have its positives, such as allowing us to enforce HD encryption to all endpoints - a feature I greatly appreciated. It was also fairly intuitive and easy to deploy across our enterprise, enabling us to install various applications and enforce encryption. There was a slight learning curve, but it wasn't too overwhelming. A downside I noticed was the lack of Event Data in the REST API, which forced us to use the Syslog data that could use some improvement. If the REST API was expanded, this issue could be resolved. We initially chose Workspace One for its support for both Mac and Windows.
