My overall experience with SAP Concur has been positive. It has simplified my company's travel management activities, reducing the need for a large travel office. Most activities are now managed directly by the employees. The integration with the SAP ERP system allows us to send data in real time to our Finance/Controlling office. The best feature is the ability for each employee to independently book travel, speeding up the process and reducing the effort required by the travel manager. Overall, I find that Concur performs its job well. Over time, I've picked up a few tricks that make it easier to use. While the user interface isn't the most intuitive, I've noticed SAP's efforts to improve it, which gives me hope for the future. I've been using this tool for many years, creating and approving 1-4 reports per month, and I've developed an efficient system for managing expenses. I would appreciate more features to assist with my reports, such as templates for regular expenses. For instance, if I have a recurring bill, it would be helpful to mark it as a template and copy it into my future reports, only needing to adjust the receipt image or entry date. This would save me a lot of time. SAP Concur is a standard tool in the industry, and its features and functions justify its market share. I value the seamless integration with apps I regularly use for business travel, like Lyft, Uber, and our travel agency app.

Fantastic User Experience with Progress Tracking Reports
The customer service and accounting staff at the company were always ready to assist me. I appreciated that for simple operations, I didn't have to input a lot of data into the expense reporting UI. The processes for obtaining permits also seemed to work well. However, we have since moved away from Concur's Expense and Travel modules. Without going into specifics, our current Travel app seems to be a lateral move, with some improvements and some drawbacks, while our current Expense app is a completely new experience and I wouldn't consider going back. There were many instances where even the actual people behind the scenes couldn't get the system to do what they wanted, so I had to work with the travel provider to link things like my frequent flyer number to access my status-related benefits. We switched to SAP Concur because it's a great way to keep track of expenses and get approval from the property owner for reimbursement. It offers a wide range of receipt options and categories to help organize things.

My experience with SAP Concur has been excellent and I'm looking forward to using it for future projects. I required an app to approve hundreds of consultant expenses and align them with our accounting, and SAP Concur provided the perfect solution. I particularly appreciated the ability to review and approve remotely, which resolved 90% of our previous problems. It's one of the most user-friendly interfaces I've ever used and the integration with our accounting ERP was seamless. My only gripe with the app is its cost - a more affordable plan for small businesses would be ideal. I chose SAP Concur for its superior interface and it came out on top in our cost/benefit analysis. We switched to SAP Concur because we needed a specific add-on to increase our efficiency.
