I've been a thrilled user of ProWritingAid for over a year now. In 222, I was lucky enough to snag a Black Friday deal and paid only £55 for a year's subscription. Recently, I received an email reminding me of my upcoming renewal, although it didn't include a billing number. I quickly checked my settings and was pleased to see that I was still on the £55 yearly plan. I was excited to renew at this fantastic price.To my surprise, I received an email from Paypal stating that I had been charged £11, the full price. I was a bit puzzled because my settings clearly showed I was on a £55 a year plan and the same Black Friday deal I used last year was currently available. I immediately reached out to their customer support, confident that they would help me resolve this issue.While I wait for their response, I thought I'd share my experience here. I'm sure ProWritingAid will reach out to me soon and we'll sort this out. I'm leaving this review not as a warning, but as a testament to the great value I've found in this software and my optimism that this minor hiccup will be resolved soon.

An Exceptional, Versatile Aid for Authors Crafting Masterpieces!
I'm extremely impressed with ProWritingAid and find it fascinating. I hope it's around forever. Its tools are intuitive and the paraphrasing feature is very useful. However, document management can be a bit clumsy. I had to individually transfer all my chapters under my book's title, which was a bit of a hassle, but thankfully, my book wasn't too large.

Two Major Issues with ProWritingAid
I have two major issues with ProWritingAid that make it a subpar product. Firstly, when I copy and paste text into the online version, it messes up all my formatting. It deletes spaces, adds breaks, and generally disrupts my work. I have to spend hours reformatting text after using this software. Secondly, its integration with Google Docs is faulty. Random parts of my text are underlined and issues can't be identified. The software crashes and the interface is poorly designed, with a large label blocking my writing. While there's potential in this app, these basic problems need to be addressed first. I would recommend looking elsewhere for now, as there are better tools available.
