I really value Namely's visibility for our staff and its back-end functionality. There's plenty of e-learning available, but our admin users require machine walk-throughs for full comprehension. Namely provides helpful YouTube videos for this. We transitioned from Paychex to Namely due to Paychex's difficult usability and inconsistent customer service. They failed to understand our complex company and our non-profit needs. I appreciate Namely's response to our review and their efforts to enhance our e-learning experience.

My overall experience with Namely has been largely positive. I value their updated customer service center which offers relevant articles to my inquiries. Their customer service representatives are typically quick, courteous, and friendly. The software is user-friendly for our employees, featuring an intuitive system that makes profiles, performance management, PTO, and onboarding tasks visible. However, I have encountered some issues with the software. We've brought up concerns about illogical system-generated responses in the performance management system, but these have not been addressed. Despite this, I still receive emails asking for my approval even when the review is incomplete. I selected Namely for its flexibility with performance management and ease of use. I appreciate their response to my review and am glad they value my feedback. I'm also satisfied with their new Pod Service Model, designed to enhance client experiences.

Steer Clear of Namely
I find Namely's service to be poor. Their representatives lack understanding of the system and payroll practices, and my service tickets often get misplaced. Resolving complex tasks takes months and there's excessive micromanagement. The only positive is the visually appealing interface. The HRIS doesn't properly track maternity/paternity, jury duty, and bereavement leave. There's no way to view PTO accrual history and employees aren't notified when their address format is invalid. The system only recognizes US holidays, which is inconvenient for UK employees. When the reporting structure changes, I have to manually adjust in Namely Payroll and do a mass upload in the HRIS. It doesn't automatically track job title history and I have to manually assign PTO to employees. The payroll system is also flawed. I can't retract partial payments and had to manually print and sort W2s for employees.

Exceptional Customer Support
Initially, I faced some challenges with Namely, but once I was assigned a dedicated team, everything fell into place. I call them the dream team because they always have the answers or make sure to find them. I am extremely satisfied with their exceptional customer service. They have helped me to fully utilize the system. I find the Help Community to be a valuable feature for quick responses. Despite the COVID-19 situation, Namely has been proactive with every new law. I appreciate the ability to run reports and headcounts. I chose Namely for its Facebook-like feature and because I wanted a system that our team members could actively use. So far, my experience with Namely has been great. I appreciate their response to my review and am glad to find their service team and the Namely Help Community helpful during these challenging times.

I've had a great experience with the Namely team since the beginning. They've been incredibly helpful, guiding us through the entire process and providing training. They were able to anticipate our needs and questions. With Namely, we've managed to digitize and secure all our HR files. I love everything about Namely, although I wish it integrated with more software. I chose Namely for its ease of use and user-friendliness, and their customer support is excellent. I liked the social feature on Namely's home page that let our team celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. However, as Namely was new in the industry when I used it, it had some growing pains like reorganizations and design layout issues. Despite these, I was still pleased to use it daily.

Over a Week's Wait for the Software
I waited over a week for the product to arrive. It looks good and has a beautiful color, but it has a significant flaw. The last name contains a Romanian letter, which was replaced with a question mark, making the name incomprehensible. They should have used an English alphabet letter or contacted me. This is a major downside for me.
