I value how Anytime Collect enables me to schedule collection calls effortlessly, saving time for my team and me. The scheduled follow-up calls are also advantageous. The only slight issue was configuring the parameters for when I wanted collection to start, either 30 days from the invoice date or based on system terms. However, the Anytime Collect team resolved this for me, so it wasn't an issue. Overall, I find it to be a highly effective collection tool and I frequently recommend it to other business associates I meet.

Top-tier AR Collection Tool, Yet Comes with a Catch
I believe that this product, Lockstep, is the biggest and best and should definitely be considered for any AR collection effort functionality. It's crucial to have an honest discussion about needs and price before committing. In my view, Anytime Collect is the most robust collection tool on the market, boasting features and functionality that others can only aspire to. It certainly dominates the majority of the market, offering integrations and flexibility for most situations. However, all these benefits come with a price and a level of complexity. Despite the many reasons to choose it, my team found it to be too expensive, with too many options for users and too many switches, knobs, and options to adjust. Ultimately, it had a price tag three times higher than what we were leaning towards.

Fantastic Software! Excellent Investment! Worth Every Penny!
If I were to summarize Anytime Collect in a single term, it would be "Transparency." Since I started using it, I've gained increased visibility into my receivables. The days of paper aging reports with highlighters are over. Anytime Collect provides the information I need to make crucial decisions daily. I value the automated emails to overdue accounts, the task list it provides, and the dashboard that gives an executive overview of the receivables. However, as it is web or browser-based, it can sometimes be slow. The company has been excellent, including me in a pilot release of a new version. There have been some bugs, as with all new software, but the power is still there!

Boosting Collections Efficiency with Lockstep
We've experienced a significant improvement in our Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) since using Lockstep. The number of overdue issues has drastically reduced, enabling us to concentrate on previously overlooked areas. We find the feature that allows multiple users to view notes on past issues and the efforts made to resolve them extremely beneficial. Our ability to manage and customize collection efforts in a clear and organized way has also greatly enhanced our DSO. The software provides our customers with a platform to view their account details, obtain PDF invoice copies, and even make payments without contacting us directly, saving us a lot of time. However, there can be a learning curve for customers who choose to use the pay now feature, especially if they typically pay in advance or are trying to use a credit on their account.

Exploring Anytime Collect: A User's Perspective
I find the team at Lockstep to be extremely helpful, kind, and patient. They always take the time to listen and provide comprehensive answers to my questions. The software is great for organizing, tracking, analyzing, and collecting - essentially everything I need. However, I wish there were written instructions for each application. It would be useful to be able to search for a question and get a simple step-by-step answer. The absence of this feature can be frustrating. After sharing my review, the vendor informed me that Anytime Collect does have a Knowledge Base with written instructions and step-by-step videos, as well as on-page help within the product. I found this information helpful and appreciated their response.

Lockstep: An Essential Tool for Collections Management
I've been using ATC for several years and can't imagine working without it. As the Controller, I don't deal with collections, but ATC lets me oversee everything. I find the communication history feature very useful, especially when we had to replace our collections person, as it allowed us to keep all her work history. The most impactful feature of ATC is the automated emails, which we've recently started using. I expect this will greatly decrease our overdue balances in the future. I also appreciate the automatic sync with our accounting software, the simplicity of emailing clients through ATC, the ability to see all client communication history, automated emails and statements, and the ability to log customer promises and set follow-up reminders. However, the old version isn't very user-friendly and learning how to use it wasn't always easy. I haven't tried the newer version yet, but my collections person says it's simpler to navigate. The documentation is definitely insufficient and I don't consider searching.
