Jepto is user-friendly, has a responsive interface, and is easy to set up. Once connected to Data Studio, it provides access to a significant amount of data. However, it's limited to the information fed into Data Studio, as it can't directly access data from marketing sources. Despite this, the data available is impressive, especially the anomaly notifications and actions. I use Jepto for its automation and its ability to detect anomalies, which surpasses other tools that only alert when numbers change. Jepto can identify abnormal occurrences and trigger actions based on these anomalies, preventing unexpected changes from ruining my budget. However, it needs more integrations. It seems to rely heavily on Zapier and Integromat for most integrations. The basics, like Data Studio, are present, but I dislike having to depend on another paid third-party tool for integrations with common marketing tools, including some from Google.

Challenging and Complex to Navigate
So far, my experience with Jepto has been poor. I've received minimal support and have ultimately abandoned the tool. I found it difficult to use and comprehend, it was confusing and not at all straightforward. In response to my feedback, the vendor thanked me and noted that they hadn't received any other feedback about the tool being hard to use. They asked me to share my experience to help enhance the onboarding process. They also pointed out that I hadn't contacted support during or after my trial and extended an invitation for me to do so if I had any queries about the benefits and how to maximize the platform. This response was given in June 2020.

Overall, Jepto has been a game changer for my business. I used to depend on other third-party platforms for my GBP data and almost all of them had issues importing accurate data my clients expect. Jepto is affordable, accurate and the customer service is excellent - I have no complaints at all. I use Jepto daily to track all my GBPs. From tracking the number of phone calls for each location to monitoring Google reviews, I report everything through Looker Studio and syncing this with the Jepto connectors is really simple. Also, I'd like to mention that Dale has been fantastic in assisting me through the live chat for any issues I've encountered. The dashboard is just OK. For newcomers to the platform, there's a bit of a learning curve and sometimes it can be hard to find where to change the settings you need. I switched to Jepto for the customer service, data accuracy and price.

As an independent digital analytics and tag management consultant, I find Jepto incredibly useful. It has simplified my work, particularly in data collection and data governance. Jepto has automated routine tasks such as monitoring data anomalies through Machine Learning and AI, meaning I'm instantly alerted to any data collection issues. Its integration with Search Console allows me to set up alerts for significant SEO changes, like new 44 pages, and quickly identify and communicate errors to clients. A small but valuable feature is the Google Analytics Management API functionality, which notifies me of changes to a Google Analytics property/view. All this data can be used to create a unique dashboard in Google Data Studio using their pre-built connector. This has enabled me to build customer-facing dashboards that make Jepto data easy to understand and actionable. Jepto has great potential for digital analytics and SEO experts, and marketers, as it allows for ad budget monitoring and alerts. Although I haven't used this feature personally, given the high quality of the rest of the service and their customer service, I can see the benefits it would bring. I highly recommend Jepto to anyone involved in website optimization and digital analytics. It has allowed me to create subscription-based services, with Jepto being a key driver behind my insights
