In summary, my experience with DigitalOcean has been excellent in every way. I faced a specific issue with replicating a certain image type that wouldn't work on a new box due to the length of the image name on a specific Debian release. The DigitalOcean support team resolved it and got back to us, even after we had rebuilt the image. The platform has been the most refreshing to use in a long time, especially for back-end work. We switched from AWS, which was incredibly hard to manage. Occasionally, we had to migrate between data centers because the machines we wanted weren't available for scaling in our existing data center. We chose DigitalOcean for its competitive pricing and ease of administration.

I consider Digital Ocean a fantastic product for quick and dependable web hosting, ideal for large websites and applications. I value its superior site performance score and complete control. I only pay for the resources I use, a transparent approach compared to other hosting providers. The workspace is straightforward and user-friendly, with well-allocated features. I also appreciate its use of solid-state drives, which are faster than standard storage, and its droplets are simple to configure and deploy. However, I discontinued using Digital Ocean because after three months, the system began rejecting my prepaid visa card. The support team was slow to respond and failed to resolve the issue, suggesting I pay via Paypal, which added an extra $10 to my fees. I also discovered that all services are self-managed, which can be difficult for beginners with little knowledge of cloud computing. Lastly, fast support comes at an additional cost, which I find unreasonable. I think they should consider improving this aspect.

I am extremely pleased with DigitalOcean. I initially used it for a small side project, but now I manage a server for an API, another for a frontend app, and a managed DB that the API draws from. The process of connecting these was simple, as was linking my domains to different servers. I value DigitalOcean's affordability, which allowed me to experiment without the stress of making a profit. The user interface is outstanding, allowing me to carry out all tasks in the browser without using CLI. The API is similar to Amazon S3, and the pricing is very fair. I also appreciate the CDN for quick global delivery, the transparent billing, and the ability to create an image of my server to save costs. The one-click feature to set up a provisioned Ubuntu droplet, LAMP stack, or preconfigured server images is particularly handy. Other features I enjoy include the floating IPs, domain management, easy server resizing, and the abundance of Q&A resources. There are occasional UI.
