I absolutely adore Dashlane and use it daily. If you're not utilizing a password manager like Dashlane or 1Password, you're likely at risk of having your login details stolen. Particularly if you're using the same login details for multiple sites, your identity and possibly your credit card information could already be in someone else's possession. Dashlane is a crucial product in the current digital era. It integrates seamlessly with iOS and functions across all platforms and browsers. It notifies you when a site you use has been breached and enables you to change passwords automatically with a single click, although this feature doesn't always work for all sites. It securely manages your credit card information and autofills shipping details. It also provides a secure notes area for storing important details. However, there are some minor issues. Occasionally, especially on Mac, it doesn't always recognize an active login field, forcing me to refresh the page or open the Mac app to activate the Chrome extension. This appears to be a random bug.

I am extremely satisfied with Dashlane, using it multiple times daily on both my desktop and mobile devices. It's my preferred password manager and I highly recommend it to all my clients. I've been a Dashlane user for over 5 years and find it incredibly simple and automated. I value its ability to autogenerate lengthy, alphanumeric passwords and its automatic save and autofill features when logging into websites. I recommend Dashlane to all my clients for easy password sharing when necessary, such as setting up SAAS, websites, emails, etc. A minor issue is that the "Emergency Access" feature doesn't sort the list alphabetically, but I seldom use this feature so it's not a significant issue. I opted for Dashlane for Business due to its user-friendliness and attractive price point.

As a user, I find Dashlane generally usable but quite pricey, especially considering the per user licensing and the lack of interest in implementing enhancements for business users. The sign-in feature on Chrome works well and I appreciate the password history and sharing options, even though they are limited. Despite branding itself as Dashlane for Business, it doesn't seem to fully cater to the needs of business users. For example, when a staff member changes their primary account name, Dashlane should allow us to change the email linked to the account, like most other apps do. The main reason I switched to Dashlane for Business was for the multiuser account feature.

Personally, I find Dashlane to be quite effective for my needs. It has enhanced my password security, identified potential security threats, and guided me in responding to them. However, it can be a bit complex and confusing for some less tech-savvy individuals in our organization. Dashlane is relatively easy to implement, works across various devices, and its support for phone app login is a great feature. It alerts me of security breaches that affect my logins and is very straightforward for simple logins. It also provides an additional note field for storing security question responses and a separate secure notes entry for confidential information. I can share password information with other Dashlane users and appoint an emergency contact person who can gain access in case of long-term non-use. However, it has difficulties with multi-step logins and when multiple user IDs are required for a site. Issues with autogenerated passwords also occur, such as not being saved when the password update is in a separate dialog. Site-specific options cannot be set for a page.

I have been using Dashlane for several years. However, after a recent phone upgrade, I was only able to access my passwords through the phone app. All browsers, whether on Mac or PC, were rejecting my master password. I reached out to tech support and over several days, they attempted various solutions to identify the problem. Despite their efforts, nothing seemed to work and I was worried I would lose all my passwords. However, Dashlane's tech support managed to make an emergency change to my phone app, allowing me to back up my passwords to a secure file, a feature only available on the website version. Thanks to this change, I was able to reset my account without any loss. The Dashlane tech team was extremely professional and patient throughout the process. In a time where many companies are more likely to ghost than help, I highly recommend Dashlane for both their product and their professional staff.

Quite the Letdown, Dashlane
I bought Dashlane through an IT vendor, but I'm worried that the product wasn't fully considered during its development. It was meant to be an enterprise version of Chrome password manager, but it's not working correctly for us. Instead of improving our enterprise security, it has made us scared of not being able to access our daily websites. It's currently functioning like an inferior version of Chrome password manager on our desktops. The websites are increasing, the admin panel stops me from revoking privileges, and passwords don't automatically fill in on certain sites, forcing me to manually copy and paste them from Dashlane. Also, the app and web login each have unique features, which is confusing. I wish they would reach out to me to clarify these issues. My IT vendor has been trying to fix this for days, and I'm concerned that it's a product issue as it behaves differently on different machines. We are a 100% Windows shop running the same software versions. I chose Dashlane for this.
