8x8 Chaos: Unreliable, Inconsistent, and Unresponsive
I found the 8x8 software to be incredibly unreliable and unresponsive. While the system worked fine on its own, the shocking billing inaccuracies were a major issue. The only positive aspect was its ease of use. They failed to integrate with Litify as promised and double billed us, charging us yearly and then monthly. They tried to reimburse and recharge our credit card multiple times. Communication with 8x8 was slow and during this period, they disconnected our phones. After we called, they reconnected them, assuring us it wouldn't happen again until the issue was resolved. However, a week later, they disconnected them again, demanding full payment for the year, despite still owing us $3k. They refused to accept my payment over the phone, which was ridiculous. They promised to refund the $9k they charged us, but we haven't received it yet. Our representative is now unresponsive.

Overcharged for a Year with 8x8!!
I have been overcharged by 8x8 for a year. My attempts to contact them through calls and emails have been ignored. Our service was upgraded without our consent and no action has been taken to rectify this. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The attorneys I work with are currently filing court paperwork.

I recently launched a landscape and hardscape business in Houston with my family and found 8X8 to be the ideal phone system for us. It's cost-effective and packed with great features. I now have a customized 8X8 auto-attendant message that handles calls, allowing customers and vendors to connect to the right person or department with just one button. I no longer need to constantly answer the office phone. Voice mail messages are emailed to me, and I can listen and forward them to the right person without them having to dial in. I can also manage business hours, messages, and the phone system from an app and the website. The app even lets me answer calls and monitor things from anywhere with internet or cellular service. It's a brilliant system for both my company and me. It's user-friendly and I can adjust it to my needs at any time. I can even record different voicemail messages for different situations.

I am locked in a contract with 8x8, a company that failed to deliver on their promises, leaving us with an inefficient phone system that has received numerous complaints from our patients throughout the year. The phones frequently drop calls, cut out, and have even left us without any phone service on several occasions. Their user support is extremely poor. It's worth paying more for a proper service.

I've had quite an experience with 8x8! As a web-based IP phone, it was incredibly functional and met my project needs perfectly. The service was always responsive and on point. When it came time to adjust my account, the process was smooth and hassle-free. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a charge of $7 CAD on my account, which was a fair price for the excellent service they provided. Their customer service was top-notch, always returning my calls promptly. The fact that they are a large corporation didn't deter them from providing personalized service. I'm definitely looking forward to doing business with them again!

8x8: A Stellar IP Phone Client for Desktop Use
The 8x8 software is effective for managing and making calls from my computer. I value its ability to connect to my desk phone or use the internet to make calls from my work number. However, I found the Android mobile app less user-friendly and had trouble receiving calls on it. I mainly use the computer app to handle my phone calls and texts from my work number. It works as required and I appreciate being able to text from it too. I attempted to use the mobile app to make calls from my work number using my cell phone, but encountered problems with call quality. Several people mentioned they couldn't hear me. When I switched to my cell phone's default dialer, the call quality got better. The mobile app had a few other minor issues, so I ended up removing it and now only use the computer software while at my desk.

After paying the service fee, they took the extra step to verify our credentials, ensuring the integrity of their platform. They requested proof of our LLC registration in the USA, which we promptly provided. To my surprise, they went above and beyond to cross-check the information with the county. This level of diligence is rare and commendable. Although there was a minor hiccup with the county not confirming our registration, despite us having all the necessary documents and an EIN from the IRS, I appreciate their commitment to maintaining a secure and trustworthy platform. I have now requested to close the application and get a refund, and I am confident that they will handle this with the same professionalism they've shown so far. I am looking forward to resolving this issue and continuing to use their services. I will make sure all my company employees know about the exceptional service standards of 8x8 and leave glowing reviews on all platforms.

I believe that the 8x8 software could improve by making caller ID and ring group information available on voicemail. I also think that call logs should consistently include all calls, even those made while on Do Not Disturb mode or calls answered by another extension, along with the caller ID and ring group or number dialed.

I absolutely adore 8x8 virtual office and can't envision switching to any other phone software. It's smooth and loaded with impressive features. I've been a user of 8x8 for over 5 years and their customer service has consistently been extremely supportive. Purchasing new phones for new hires is simple and the setup process is straightforward. I especially love the chat feature which we utilize daily for communication with all staff. We also value the app, which all employees have on their phones and have been using as their desk phone during the COVID work from home period. There are occasional delays, but issues are seldom. I opted for 8x8 X Series as it was the clear choice for me. I'm pleased to see that 8x8 values my 5-star experience with them.
