However, there are times when a public video isn't visible on my website and the privacy settings can be somewhat confusing. The interface for setting up parameters is also a bit clumsy. I chose Vimeo for its affordability and user-friendliness. I switched from YouTube because managing my library there was more challenging and Vimeo's content protection better met my needs.

I feel like I could post a video of a butterfly and they would still ensure it aligns with their terms on posting about elections. I prefer it over YouTube because it allows me to customize my videos to fit seamlessly into my well-designed website, a feature YouTube lacks. However, I wish Vimeo offered more customization options. I've also noticed that Vimeo doesn't attract the same level of viewership as YouTube, as people don't seem to spend time exploring Vimeo as they do on YouTube. I switched to Vimeo because I found YouTube's controls to be clunky, for instance, I couldn't turn off the video title.
